Gemini Parent, Leo Parent

Fun and games

>>What a lively and fun parenting team! Together you are enthusiastic, vibrant and able to adapt to the changing needs of your family. The Gemini parent is more logical, encouraging your little ones to talk and play, drawing out their curiosity, and engaging them in games, puzzles or other fun mental activities. Your jokes make your children laugh, and they delight in your youthful energy and playful mind. The Leo parent is also great fun but much more dramatic. You're the one who will help your children put on plays in your living room for the whole family. You bring stability and leadership to the table. Your children will look up to you, which suits you just fine! You'll be the more likely parent to assert your authority and insist on strong discipline and good behaviour from your children.

Gemini Parent, Gemini Child

The fun of mental stimulation

>> You and your Gemini child share a stimulating connection that's great fun for both of you. You love doing puzzles, playing word games and using your curious minds and natural skills at communication. Reading to your little Gemini before bed is a must, even before he begins talking, since exploring different ideas and worlds is a pleasure for both of you. Your child enjoys the pictures as well as the sound of your voice and the way you say the words. He also adores his friends and siblings, so schedule lots of play time with other children. Of course, since you both change your minds so often, keeping to any schedule could be a challenge. You're fortunate if there's someone in your lives who can help you focus and get your little one to school and other appointments on time!

Leo Parent, Gemini Child

Interesting people and experiences

>>With your warm, engaging personality, you should have no problem helping your Gemini child connect with interesting people and experiences. Just take him on frequent trips to friends' houses, the library and other fascinating places, and then stand back and let him explore! These outings are great fun for both of you, as you get to show off your bright-eyed, inquisitive child, and he gets to embrace the world. Best of all, your stability gives your little Gemini a solid base. He's impulsive and changeable by nature, so your grounding influence helps him focus. Your child isn't quite as emotional as you are, so try not to let it hurt your feelings when he seems to forget all about you in favour of someone new and temporarily more interesting. You're the centre of his universe, which means he'll always come back - sooner or later!

He sent me a loving sms this evening which took me by surprise. hmm... i really feel like putting it down here for my reference in future but feeling abit pai sei. But I have decided to do it nonetheless. Don't go any further if you are not a fan of romance.

sms fm hubby at4.45pm: Honey i love you and miss you. Busy with work lately, but I am always thinking of you. Muack.

my reply: Hmm... U seem different. So expressive... But I like it! I'm missing you too. But I know u r busy with work. Don worry. Love you lots.

When I was home, our conversation went like this...

hb: I am expressive but just that I don't say it out.
me: How can you be expressive when you don't express what you feel. dud.
silence from hb.

Tired....

Sometimes I just feel sooo tired when taking care of Jayden....
I'm winching yah? Nobody at home wants to take care of him when I'm at home. It's all the way until he sleeps. And this boy only nap once when I'm home. During weekdays, he naps twice. It's really test of endurance and limits. Of course if I need to eat or bath or use the loo, then I will pass it to family member.

Just need to 发泄..... argh....

Trophy time!

Ok, this post is all going to be on Jayden's accomplishments and that's why I titled the blog as such. :P

I know all kids at this stage will have lotsa "trophies" given by daddy, mommy, ah-gong, ah-ma....and the list goes on. It's like the most fun stage!

Now, what does this lil boy does? play play and more play aside from his naps.

>> He loves to turn on and off the fan wherever possible.

>> Can listen to instruction very well. He took a small photo album from a drawer and walked towards me.

Mommy: Jayden, keep the photo album... put it back.
Jayden walks back to the drawer and dump it in. (haven't close the drawer and walks back to me)
Mommy: Go back and close the drawer.
He turns back and shut the drawer before coming back to me.

>> can walk and run fast fast.... don like to hold hands when running.

>> Can climb stairs like adult. one hand hold rail and climb up up and away.

>>Bluff people: seems like want to pass food to MIL through his mouth. when she comes near, he quickly swallow.

>> Tell u when he wants to pee and poo. It's a matter of whether we get it.

>> Still loves water aka bathing! loves to drink bath tub water too

>> can say papa, mama, jiejie very well. but depends on his mood too,

>> loves yoghurt

>> still hates porridge. love mee sua though

>> wat else? still wants to get into our bed in the middle of the night. will stand up in cot crying if we ignore him.

>> our room is like a playhouse. lots of toys.

My eyes r gg to close liao. that's all for now.

have a great weekend everyone!

How's life?

These days, life has been very busy....

Did alot of OT last week (think 4/5 days). This week, did 3 days OT. And one of the day was because I had a dinner appt so gotta leave on time.

Though work is busy but at least I find it still interesting. Alot of things to learn and pick up along the way. Still waiting for one more new staff to come in then I should be able to offload somemore and get off work on-time.

Luckily, hubby is very understanding. He does the sweetest thing like coming to fetch me from Vivo. It's quite out of the way. And he even buy salmon sashimi for me while awaiting for me. How sweet can he get! I'm touched and I really appreciate that. I told him that cos I don't take that for granted. It's also a way for us to have chance to hold hands and our own world while driving home.

And this boy is extremely sticky to me still. Think he's afraid mommy's gonna leave him. So he cries terribly when I am out of his sight. I'm not complaining. Instead I'm enjoying that. It feels great to be desired. Imagine if he does that to the maid or other family member, it will be so sad right? though a lazy person will be glad lah...can shake leg and relax. And when I start to think ahead where he starts to get really independant and don't need my company, I think I will feel sad. So I am truly totally relishing the moments of my little boy's stickiness to me. It does show alot. it means he loves me truly... just like his father.:)

TGIF!

Our impromptu date on 23.Aug.09

After attending my friend's Agnes wedding, we had time to ourselves. Went on a date just like tat.

2 of us... walking hand in hand albeit my aching legs cos I was wearing heels. but i didn't breathe a single word of it to hubby. wanna be cool. haha....

thinking of where to go since we are both out and it's still early... 8plus.

He decided Arab street to smoke shisha (don noe how to spell it) and I agreed immediately!

Good to try new experiences with hubby and at the same time, do some notti things.

Was searching which shop to go try it... and gosh, some were terrible, rundown, etc.

Finally found an empty lebanese rest that we could smoke it al-fresco.

Hmm.... not really fantastic. I try not to get choked by the smoke. Even hubby also don find it shiok. Puffing his marlboro is much much better.

He made a remark,"Tonight I dont feel guilty about smoking. Cos you are doing it wtih me also." hahahaha.... and I was his "ah-lian" gf for the nite. kekekekekeke.....

Cool? :P

*Choked* cough cough....
