It's public holiday tomorrow!

Looking forward to tomorrow cos no need to work. Gonna stay at home n take care of my little one. Gonna play with him! hehe... I bought toys, cloth books, flashcard to have fun with him. All purchases through online! haha... no need to step out also can get so many barangs!

Though looking after him esp nite time very tiring but still look forward to coming home everyday to see and carry him. Baby grows up very fast man!

Lazy to write long essays today... Going to rest and watch my HK serials while waiting for hb to return!

Our 2nd Wedding Anniversary (24-Sept)

Allan & I celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary today! Took half day off from work and we went Cafe Brio for their buffet lunch. It's really enjoyable. I ate lotsa sashimi...my fav! I told him tt I need to visit my blog to see if we did celebrate our 1st yr weddin anni. And tada! It was having dinner buffet at Cafe Brio too! haha... such a coincidence. to tell the truth, they always have 1-for-1 deal during our wedding anni period. that's why we find it very worth it to celebrate there. haha.... for our records, we've been Cafe Brio thrice. Those with StanChart Manhattan card can go for their promo.

My wedding anni gift is a mini-laptop => ACER Apire One. pearl white colour. I told Allan,"Woah, the gift veri technical hor." he said that i can use it to write my bloggie on bed which I'm doing nw. hee... after lunch, we wanted to go suntec but kena roadblock due to F1 event. Ended up went to Funan IT Mall to take a look at additional batteries and mini-laptop bag. we'd buy the laptop case online. not much designs in shops. guess mini-laptop is still pretty new to sg.

I'm bloggin today down cos I know this time next yr, I will come back n see if we did celebrate. Just took 2 pics today as a keepsake.

Time to go rest now. Jayden getting abit cranky tonite. don noe what's wrong. but i better go sleep while he sleep also.

Alive....

As I walked home from the bus-stop after work today, I looked up the blue sky streaked with white clouds and thought to myself,"I'm so glad to be alive. living. breathing." I'm not taking life for granted. Being thankful that I'm able-bodied, have a job that I doesn't drag my feet to, moi little family to return to after a day's work. Suddenly, I just feel so contented with life and want to appreciate every little thing that I have, even nature...like a good o'l weather that I could slowly strolled in.

The extra bag( for my breastpump and storage bag) that I have to lug to and back from work no doubt is kinda troublesome. But trying to the best of my ability to give something good to Jayden just makes the effort seem worthwhile. Hope he will be strong n smart. And every night while latching him really bonds me closer to him. thou I wonder what's he thinking... is it just purely yummy milk or? I'm savouring each day of this closeness between us. Cos there will be a day that I need to wean him off. It made me treasure each day and living in the moment.

My Monday today is filled with missing of Jayden... after spending the weekend taking care n training my little one. hee... was successful in training him to go to sleep by himself during the day twice. no need to rock him. And he actually took some good naps during the day during the weekend. I was super happy cos he always kena complaint that he don't want to sleep during the day. And I'm more worried if it would affect his development. Through reading some books, learnt that we need to identify his sleepy cues and set the environment for him to have a good nap. Well...as parents, we are responsible that he have a secure environment to rest, play and thrive. Baby needs enough rest to grow well. My nieces didn't come round much during the weekend so it helped that home environment was more peaceful. Cos they are super noisy when here... think that's the main reason why he has difficulty sleeping during weekday. too much distractions. poor boy.

And hubby woke up last night at 4+am to change Jayden's diaper and pat him back to sleep. I was too shag by then due to 2hrs feeding interval at nite (12midnite,2am,4am,6am). He waking up to put the little one to sleep was such a great help... so must commend here!!! love ya dear! Keep up the good work hor. haha...

My little one sucked his thumb to soothe himself to sleep on Saturday... he's a definite right-hander. most of his traits follow his dad. blood group, features except eyes, body size... =)

Hee.... now I have a family of my own liao! Our latest family pic taken at my parents' housewarming party! Jayden was like the mini "Star of the day". All the aunties there want to carry him. He sure enjoyed all the attention cos he likes pple to talk to him. =P He happens to be 12 weeks old that day.

I still couldn't get it to my head since I knew about it. Cos gotten used to his working schedule liao... Not complaining here arh...

Survived my 1st week of Work!

Where my calendar was when I went back to office on 1-Sept...
Yes, have to turn OOO (maternity leave) message off....
Me cam-whoring at my company's nursing room. Cos the 2 rooms r occupied!!! i wait and wait....
Still not out?! Nothing to do except to take more pics! haha... what to do?
Time to take portrait shot.... Mama-mia... here i go again... after 20mins of waiting, finally my turn to moo-moo...

Finally it's friday... and I've survived the week... There were days when I was zombie-like cos Jayden kept waking up due to his blocked nose.

I was missing him so badly on 1st day of work. It's not those "kept thinking of him" at work. but rather it's when I reached home and latching him. Gosh! In that instant, as if a tornado just swept past me and all the missing-ness just emerged. Tears r usually the aftermath... Imagine him drinking his milk and eyes looking at me innocently and the emotional mummy there eyes wet wet. can't help it man. 1st day of being sooooo many hrs away fm my baby! wat do ya expect?

Luckily, not too busy at work. my new project just barely started. at least I have some time to get my engine started and to get used to my new routine of expressing milk. pianz...veri busy... it's not easy. i'm doing 3 hrs interval as my supply not alot. but when i think that it's for good of baby, it's worth it. At least today, i feel that my process has improved...in the sense of when to wash, rinsing with hot water etc... c

Well, i can feel that Jayden has grown bigger by a bit this week. his fingers seem to grow bigger liao...hee...
