Happy long weekend!

I've really enjoyed myself this long weekend. Mainly because spent alot of quality time with hubby and Jayden. especially with hubby.

Went to watch the Avatar with hub on Christmas night. It was a great movie! And it's really refreshing to do it. boosts couplehood. pa-toh for that evening really means alot... something to sweeten the days before we all gets busied with work and what-nots that days and months will just zoom past without us knowing it.

And we went for our "Boxing day dinner" tonight. at Crowe Hotel. AZUR. nice place, ambience and great food. another happy night. I really treasure our moments together. Cos I know when the lil one pops, we will be busy all over again with diaper changing, breastfeeding and chasing after Jayden. :) Thinking abit too far? hehe...

It's just that with current work where it's not like working in HP, I can take half day leave to pa-toh with hubby. Working here, private time is really limited. And I'm sure for the next few months even after opening, it will be even busier.

Last meeting, our boss has painted a very clear picture to us of what he saw. From what he sees now, he can see our team will face a very difficult and challenging period 3 weeks from now. "There will be bloodshed and it is going to be chaotic." When I heard that, I can imagine job will be tougher down the road. Cos when mayhem comes, we will need this part or that tool which either wasn't in the spare list or hasn't arrive, etc, etc. I could see all these coming when he said that. Left with 3 weeks to make the best that we've got.

So I do really cherish times spent with Jayden like when weekend comes, we can wake up together and have fun. When I wake up earlier dueing wkend, I will have my breakie and wait for my lil boy to wake up. It's pretty sad to say goodbye to him in the morning when leaving for work especially when he's awake and he wants me to carry him.

One more day tomorrow for my family day before starting work on Monday. Gonna enjoy my beautiful Sunday!

It's Christmas!!!

Today's the day I opened all my pressies!

I was surprised when I woke up this morning and my pressies from hubby were on my desk.
1st, I opened and it was a mug with pics of us and the lil ones.... totally sweet! :)

2nd was something I had openly hinted => Issey Miyake parfum! The packaging was soooo nice.

3rd pressie => He wanted to buy a solitare ring. I'm saving it for next year to get a bigger one or something else. hiak hiak...

Of course, am glad to open all my pressies from friends and colleagues!

Busy mummy

These days, I have been reaching home at 8pm after work. Getting out of Sentosa from my site office ain't that easy. lotsa coordination involved. then it's dinner and shower. play with jayden and off to dreamland right after he sleeps at 10ish... Tio complaints fm the Significant other liao. Not enuf attention. Guess the pregnancy makes me tired too.

Shifting office this weekend so I had to pack on Thurs as I took leave on Fri to go for gynae checkup.

Was surprised to see Allan being excited too. Altough it's our #2. hehe. I am treasuring this pregnancy too cos we would probably close factory at 2. Saw Dr Paul yesterday and he said baby is growing well. And my cycst had grown smaller! yippee!!! was quite worried it before that. hmm... these days, we were asking Jay if he wants a didi or meimei. haha.... as if he would understand. he replied didi sometimes and meimei at others.

Going for Oscar test next Sat.

Work-wise, the resort is looking to open in January so it's as busy as ever.

Went for a forum mummy gathering today, it was great! Catching with friends and letting the little ones have abit of fun though he is more adventurous. roaming out of boundaries. out of the function room. near where? vending machines! his fav new haunts...

Christmas is coming. have done fair bit of my shopping.... am looking forward! :)

Updates on the lil one @ 7 weeks...

Went for my 1st gynae appt at Dr Paul Tseng's clinic today to check on the lil one officially. This time round with Allan around! He first scanned a cyst near my right side and said we will monitor. (hope this will go away soon). Then he scan the lil one in the tiny sac with its tiny heart pumping. heard its heartbeat on the doppler. It just made me so assured that this lil life inside me is growing. Mummy will do her best to give you the best environment yah! Seeing that just made me felt excited all over again as a mummy.

More or less decided to go for Paul Tseng this time round. His visits are better and more professional. better ambience and shorter wait (definitely than Dr Koh).

I am enjoying the pregnancy days and with my sweetest darling by my side, I feel blessed. truly...

And I wish to spread baby dust to my friends who are planning for the lil one. *sprink sprink*

7-Nov-09 (A shocking day)

Yesterday was a day of surprise for me. The day when I realised Jayden is going to be a kor-kor. These kind of things always come as a surprise to me. Didn't expect it cos I avoid the O-period. And I thought it was the busy work that made my menses late. Anyway, told myself if not preggie must go see doc to take med to make it come cos miss for 2 weeks.

I don't know if the way I dropped the news was a bomb to Allan. Nevertheless, did tell him my period is late but it's not uncommon previously. Luckily, he was encouraging, caring and all the "take good care, eat more" sweeties started popping.

For me, we didn't plan to get pregnant now. with my busy work schedule and need to go to site once a week. tot of next year. but this kind of thing.. now i believe "accidents" can happen. lotsa stupid things went through my mind. all our love is on Jayden. will we love the lil one lesser? J is still young. definitely gg to be very siong taking care of two. lotsa tots.... it's exciting to learnt that you are pregnant but worrying when thinking about the practicalities. giving birth, childbirth, breast-feeding...

But I'm sure I can cope with Allan's support. Jia You!

Open...open...

past one week, I have been dozing off to sleep for 2 nites before Jayden totally fell asleep. too tired. haha... being teased by allan. mother sleeping b4 the son. buay tahan already.

this boy has learn quite a number of words recently...

Open(it's his magic word now), stars, no-more(with hand action), chi-cha(lizard in malay), bike(for bicycle),bye bye, bird, mama, papa, ah-ma, jie-jie,pek(calling my BIL)...

Can understand and/or point to:
stars, moon, bicycle, bird, money, ask u to play his favourite nursery cd

His new-found activity is Putting money into his piggy bank! he has mastered the skill a few days ago. With our encouragement, he got really interested in it.

Today, I told my FIL about this and he gave him a few coins. So I said let's go and put into your piggy-bank and he really enthusiatically followed me back to our room and plonked the coins in. But this boy will hesitate to put in now especially the last coin cos I think he know he can't take it out after dumping it in.

45mins later, he started wanting to get out of my room desperately. I relented after 3mins... and imagine what he did. He went to my PIL's room and went straight to my FIL's pocket trying to take coins! *faint* he still remembers!

FIL gave him a $2 note this time.... So again we went back to the piggy bank. I showed him folding it into small piece then push push a few times, down it went! he was abit sad when he can't see the note anymore.

Every day brings a little surprise that just melts our hearts. A koala-bear hug from this boy tells me how much he misses me. Maybe boy don't really show it but his lil action like sticking to me while I'm having dinner. banging down the toilet door while I'm bathing, can't wait for me to quickly come out says it all! he's still my lil boy afterall!

3rd wedding anniversary 24.09.09

It has been a very memorable wedding anniversary this year. I was overwhelmed by dear hubby's surprise! The very 1st time he sent flowers to my office. He actually collaborated with my colleagues as he doesn't have the delivery addy of my site office! It's hard work for the delivery man. Cos the way into my site office is quite difficult.

No wonder hubby was asking why he didn't see my namecard before. but i don't carry them with me around. so nope, he still doesn't have it.

So I was truly surprised by his romantic act! keke... in all our 7 years being together.




My colleague who tried to pass the flowers off as from him. *ah-bish! i take no nonsense!* haha.... but must thank him for picking up the flowers from the delivery guy.

A dinner out with hubby at Suburbia in Sentosa! Not bad arh! can go pak-tor in the shortest time! Nice place... relaxing....

No mojito... :( so ordered hoe garden. still don't like the taste of beer.

Tired....

Sometimes I just feel sooo tired when taking care of Jayden....
I'm winching yah? Nobody at home wants to take care of him when I'm at home. It's all the way until he sleeps. And this boy only nap once when I'm home. During weekdays, he naps twice. It's really test of endurance and limits. Of course if I need to eat or bath or use the loo, then I will pass it to family member.

Just need to 发泄..... argh....

Trophy time!

Ok, this post is all going to be on Jayden's accomplishments and that's why I titled the blog as such. :P

I know all kids at this stage will have lotsa "trophies" given by daddy, mommy, ah-gong, ah-ma....and the list goes on. It's like the most fun stage!

Now, what does this lil boy does? play play and more play aside from his naps.

Mommy: Jayden, keep the photo album... put it back.
Jayden walks back to the drawer and dump it in. (haven't close the drawer and walks back to me)

How's life?

These days, life has been very busy....

Did alot of OT last week (think 4/5 days). This week, did 3 days OT. And one of the day was because I had a dinner appt so gotta leave on time.

Though work is busy but at least I find it still interesting. Alot of things to learn and pick up along the way. Still waiting for one more new staff to come in then I should be able to offload somemore and get off work on-time.

Luckily, hubby is very understanding. He does the sweetest thing like coming to fetch me from Vivo. It's quite out of the way. And he even buy salmon sashimi for me while awaiting for me. How sweet can he get! I'm touched and I really appreciate that. I told him that cos I don't take that for granted. It's also a way for us to have chance to hold hands and our own world while driving home.

And this boy is extremely sticky to me still. Think he's afraid mommy's gonna leave him. So he cries terribly when I am out of his sight. I'm not complaining. Instead I'm enjoying that. It feels great to be desired. Imagine if he does that to the maid or other family member, it will be so sad right? though a lazy person will be glad lah...can shake leg and relax. And when I start to think ahead where he starts to get really independant and don't need my company, I think I will feel sad. So I am truly totally relishing the moments of my little boy's stickiness to me. It does show alot. it means he loves me truly... just like his father.:)

After attending my friend's Agnes wedding, we had time to ourselves. Went on a date just like tat.

2 of us... walking hand in hand albeit my aching legs cos I was wearing heels. but i didn't breathe a single word of it to hubby. wanna be cool. haha....

thinking of where to go since we are both out and it's still early... 8plus.

He decided Arab street to smoke shisha (don noe how to spell it) and I agreed immediately!

Good to try new experiences with hubby and at the same time, do some notti things.

Was searching which shop to go try it... and gosh, some were terrible, rundown, etc.

Finally found an empty lebanese rest that we could smoke it al-fresco.

Hmm.... not really fantastic. I try not to get choked by the smoke. Even hubby also don find it shiok. Puffing his marlboro is much much better.

He made a remark,"Tonight I dont feel guilty about smoking. Cos you are doing it wtih me also." hahahaha.... and I was his "ah-lian" gf for the nite. kekekekekeke.....

Thoughts on US trip

I'm really lazy to blog...


And when I finally want to upload my pics this morning, there is some problem with the internet. argh!


Hmm... this post is to blog my after-thoughts of the US trip. :)

This week was terrible. Jetlagged and I caught the flu/cough virus on the way back. It's terrible suffering from sore throat, runny nose and cough from Washington all the way back.

Before I left, hubby already started sms-ing all the "missing ya" messages when I was in office. keke... It somehow felt great (in the bottom of my heart) cos I'm sooooo important to him!

Of course I felt super sad leaving for the airport and when we bid farewell at the airport.

On board the plane, I instantly wished that he's with me so that I can lean on his shoulder and sleep. Gosh, terrible neck aches! 28hours! No joke... can die man! I dread the trip back instantly cos I'm flying alone back.

In Orlando, during the 1st video-conf with Allan. I asked for Jayden to come. When i called out to him and he saw me, he started crying. Gosh... didn't know he missed me soooo much too!

There was this 5th or 6th day when I looked through my blog for pics of Jayden. The moment I saw it, I started crying non-stopped. And it's not gentle sobs, it's loud cries... It's the feeling of missing him.. so much that I can't bear it and it all poured out like tat. It was 730am sg time and I just couldn't care and called Allan. After talking to him, i felt better. Sometimes our innermost feelings surprise us at unexpected moments.

On the flight back to SG, I was all cool and the flight was still not too bad. much better than the "to" trip. mostly due to a bigger airplane(B777). We went on B747. it sux!!!

Coming back, I flew in on National Day 2330. And when the crew mentioned that we will arrive in SG at xxxhrs and it is Singapore's Independence Day, I just felt so emotional! Returning to my homeland, my family on this day. My eyes felt watery... super emo right? woahaha...

Upon touchdown and met hubby at the arrival hall, I can feel his happiness and this guy expressing all his N-16 affections right there says it all. :)

We went for Chai Chee porridge at Fengshan 85! yummy! And it's the 1st time after having Jayden that we had supper out by ourselves at Fengshan. *I secretly think we should do this once in a while... asked maid to help jaga Jayden while we slipped out for awhile. hehe*

Allan asked me,"Do I miss him or Jayden more?"

My reply,"I miss u both as much... But I could call u, talk to u so it's not that bad. So will miss Jayden more in that sense. He just walked off from the phone!"

Wat can I say? I'm just glad to be home!

In Orlando...

Suddenly, I can't believe that I'm right here in Orlando. Talks had been going on for months and 2+months later, here I am.

In trying to lessen the guilt of spending so much, I have changed my mindset that this is not a business trip but that of a shopping trip. Treat it as a vacation. It definitely made me feel better this way.

Honey, DO NOT faint when you see my credit card bills okie. I really shouldn't use the supplementary card! Too late... I can claim alot from company okay... :P

Too lazy to blog using this mini-laptop. And it's wired internet. damn. can't surf on the comfy bed.

Really can't bear to see the lil one fall asleep... cos I know when he wakes up, I'm not by his side.

I'm sooo afraid that I don't wake up at 4am. And got so paranoid that I made Allan set his alarm at 4am as well. 2 better than 1.

He's out tapao-ing supper! keke... I had a very sinful supper last night. too disgusting to be mentioned here. argh... my appetite for today was that of a mouse.

He's very thoughtful... bought me snacks for my plane ride. Cautioned me to be careful cos he always have to "take care" of our belonging when we travel together.

And he took out my flight details and calculated I will be at HK, San Francisco at xxx SG time. Cos he just wants to know his wife whereabouts. haha...

I'm flying back by myself. shit... damn sian man. 27hrs by myself.

I will miss u both... lotsa...lotsa...lotsa...

Preparing for my Orlando trip!

I'm leaving for Orlando this Sat @ 6.40AM! It's official... The plane's been booked, hotel reserved, training itinery been planned. Finally! Phew! Gotta reach airport at 5am.

Been working real hard these days... coming home and still sending emails every night. It's been so long since I've been so hard at work. And web-access email really makes it easy to do so.

Have I packed my luggage? NO. It's still sitting there gathering dust. haha... have the day off tomorrow so shall do that tmr! Thank god for the day off man!

Tomorrow still gotta do a few more tasks off my to-do list.

No doubt it's just one week. but with the rest days upon return, it's basically 1.5weeks. And work delegation still has to be done.

After looking through my itinery, I reckoned I have time to shop in the evening. That's just 1 darn day that I have to report work at 6.15am! Gosh! And I gotta go there myself! my colleagues are reporting at 8am that day.

I'm gonna miss them dearly... and he's starting to miss me too. hiak hiak.
Cos so far, it's always him leaving for work overseas. So now he gets to taste what I went through. But I told him he's better. Cos we haven't had a kid then so I was alone. For him, time will pass faster and he can play with Jayden too. He replied in a way like he's tied down with Jayden. Sorry Charles, your brother is busy looking after his son for the next 1 week. woahahaa.... no more prata & teh-tarik sessions... woahaha...i can't stop laughing. sometimes i get mad at him for arriving without any warning and expecting allan to accompany him for supper. i call him his "gay partner". Imagine 2 guys in a sports car! *heh*

L.O.V.E is in the blog

I was very very surprised when hubby told me over dinner tonight that he read my blog and felt loved. my 1st qn was,"love for you or love for jayden or both?" haha.... do I need to get down to that teeny weeny details? yesh! anyway, he didn't exactly answer my question. but i felt happy nonetheless...
Why? It means he still bother to read my blog... which I'm not exactly really maintaining it well. He's not the kind into facebook or blog or wat-nots. As far as I'm aware, he's VERY INTO FISH FORUM ONLY. he used to be my blog fan but i tot that has died down, hence the surprise. :) a pleasant one...

It's amazing how a baby can change our lives! You need to go through that to understand what I mean. Today, I almost die. Forgot to bring the damn pouch (to sling Jayden) to my mum's place. It's a MUST-HAVE to pat him to sleep. Managed to pat him till he closed his eyes then all of a sudden, he woke up! Came down to walk.. and he squat down and POo-poo! Ended up with a bath and he was an Energizer bunny all over again. dud! but he's super cute lah when he was having so much fun playing...

Will be going to US for ONE Week, thank god the duration has cut short form 2 weeks to 1 week. I was ectastic when I heard that news! Cos I miss the boys too much to be gone for so long. Already, I was imaginging I will sob sob when I miss them sooo much if it was a 2 weeks trip. hehe... leaving this sat 1st Aug and reaching Sgp on 9-Aug!

Now to hit the sack...

Missy Moi's burthday todae!

It's my 29th birthday today and I'm glad that am able to spend it here in Sin!
My ideal celebration would be to go for a meal with Allan n Jayden. and they would both sing a bday song for me.

But on the practical side, we both went for a lunch buffet. haha... Next year boy, we will definitely bring you.

We went to try out Miramar hotel - Ikoi Jap Restaurant. Heard very good reviews about it.

Well, we enjoyed our meal. Great sashimi... and their single portion is really a small one so we could order and try alot of dish...

I wld recommend their grill chicken wings too! yummy! i chomped down 4! haha... Just make sure you've got an empty stomach.

After looking at the pics taken, I feel sooo "auntie". argh... another year older. wat to do? Allan said"You are an auntie already wat..." Gosh, I don wanna look auntie. haha... need to take note of dressing...

After a satisfying meal, we went to Orchard to run some errands. I took this as we stopped at the traffic light. I simply love the effects of passing-by vehicles' reflections on the Ion's glass. the glittering effect... blink blink...

As we left Miramar, I told him that I felt happy today and he said,"I'm such an easily contended girl."

AM I????? Maybe I should tell him that I want a new watch, a bigger diamond ring or that bag?

Haha... Nah, that's not me....

To me, spending this special day with him makes it great enough! No quarrels, just taking the day easy.

Just before I started my new job, I had 1.5weeks break and I actually went for a Chocolate cake and cupcake decorating class! Don pray pray ok! It's 9am - 5pm! Woohoo!

Along with a few of my forum mummies, we went, we baked and we had hella a good time!

The teacher Mong asked,"When was the last time each of you baked?"

My reply,"Pineapple tarts for the past 2 CNY" (hahaahaa...)

This is a baking belt! 1st time I heard of this. It's to prevent the bottom from turning brown as compared to the top. So you wet it and loop it around your baking tin. I bought one of this! KS..

Demo done by Mong. She baked a vanilla cake and cutting it into half and spread nutella in-between for our tea-break later. :) This is a cake leveller. It makes the cut easy and swee! I bought this too! hahahaaha.... but it's cheap lah... 4bucks...
