"MOMENT"

Right now, I am in my own room. Feeling a sense of peace. Everyone of us just need that little bit of a personal space everyday. Where we are in our own world, not thinking of work, husband or boyfriend, family, friends, pets, babies... I even find my radio which is playing in the background a tad too noisy. I need solitude. This is when you find that your breathing slows down and you are totally relaxed. Me, except for my hands which are typing now, I am basically in a very relaxed mood. I could fall asleep like that.

Of course, that are also moments where I listen to the radio and read my book before I sleep in my own bed. It is totally enjoyable. There might be some songs that touches you and you just think of that someone you miss and I just let that whole emotion flows freely. With the cool breeze blowing at me, radio and a good book in hand, it's just a simple thing but to me, it's therapeutic. Suddenly, I just feel nostalgic for the way I am feeling now. Felt like I have been so busy for the past few months. I haven't write in such a way for quite some time already.

What have I been busy with? Pondering.... usual stuff are work, on top of this, I guess there is Principal Secret which took up a huge portion of March. Also, marriage preparation and buying stuff like mattresses, some furniture, jewellery shopping with MIL. Every purchase requires time to source around and comparison, trying & testing. We have settled our bed last Sunday and decided on the Sealy one. Very excited and how I wish it can be delivered soon so that I can lay on it.

And also spending time with my niece. There was 1 whole week (mon to fri) where I returned to my hb place after work and then it's fun time with her. bring her for walks, then she will come my room after dinner and play with this and that. here's a short clip of her having fun & pain with my mobile phone. haha...

Saw a couple taking pics on the mrt train along the way home today. It's the 1st time I'm seeing this so I quickly whipped out my camera and captured a few shots. It was quite some distance away but I zoomed in pretty much liao. Starting to wonder how my wedding photo-shoot will turnout... Argh, let nature take its course and don't wanna think too much.

Good nite & sweet dreams to everyone.... :)

Busy but Fulfilling Wkend!

Time flies past so fast. Was very busy for the whole of Saturday but thank god for Sunday. Was actually very blur on Sunday as I turned in only at 2.30am the previous night. Had a Principal Secret event on Saturday. Was out at 2pm and I reached home only at 12midnite. So it was a super-shag day! Below are some shots taken at the event at Mandarin Orchard's Mezebar! This event was actually for the distributor so we were there to help out only.

Had a very shiok supper on Friday night. Chilli crabs which I had "fantasized" for a few days liao. hahaa.... supposed to have it for dinner but my DEAR hb suddenly wanted to go home for dinner. So disappointed when he told me. So he's compensating by having it for supper. hee...

All in all... had a great wkend. Beau's going to BKK tomorrow and be back on Wed. Gonna miss him. But I guess he'll be back before I know it. haha...

I am going to watch my korea shows to pass time!

My Office Plant!

This pic is a shot of my plant in the office. Growing taller as the days goes by….

Massage...Ooh La La!

Yesterday, went for a massage with Michelle after work at Chinatown point. My masseur who is from Thailand speaks only Hokkien and Teochew. Luckily, I am "half bucket of water" in both Hokkien and Teochew so still can communicate. haha... quite funny to converse in dialect during the massage. Imagine" Arh... chin tie" meaning very pain when they exert too much force on certain areas. But I find that she's quite good in it. It was enjoyable!

We found a Takaya Bistro (Japanese restaurant) in Chinatown Point where the meals are value-for-money! No service charge and GST. We ate quite alot and it only came up to $23! Beside our main course, we even had salmon sashimi and potato salad!!! Yummy!

Took some pics after our meal where we already feel like going into dreamland liao after the massage. From there, I know how is Michelle's photography skills... quite "jia lat". haha...

Sinful Sinful Sinful...

Sipping on my green tea now. I have been to Cold Storage yesterday during lunch time yesterday and bought sinful Pringles (Sour cream & onion).
Ate half of a banana prata and egg prata yesterday night for supper. SINFUL sinful sinful. After counting down, I realised there's only 2 more weeks to taking wedding shots. And Panic has started to set in. 2 weeks and I'm still eating all these rubbish! I am putting a stop to this right now. Hopefully, it won't be too late.

Hubby mentioned that I have became chubbier this morning. Maybe it was because he hasn't put on his specs. Heehee…
Self-discipline is the word.

Lesson of today: Don't use the phrase "I think". It means you are not sure. Should say you will find out more instead. Used this phrase during presentation to small boss today and kena shot by this. Haha… But it's no big deal. Part and parcel of presentation here. He is training us to be good presenters.

Back to work. :) Great day to everyone!

Resting Day....

Nowadays not used to having naps. Don't ask me why but it seems like there are so many things to do. Was busy taking pics and uploading them for sales. Time-consuming but kinda fun thou. Doing pedicure while uploading my pics....

woman oh woman! We just love to do all the girly things yah? When we can find the time. ;P

Hanging around in the house and time just flies past. Went looking for mattress nearby at 6plus... We tried Sealy mattress at Robinson yesterday and gosh, it was heavenly cos it's those plush kind. The salesperson mentioned it's those used in Hilton Bangkok hotel and worldwide Sheraton suits. But I think must also buy those high threadcount bedsheet to really feel like I'm in a hotel. haha... Went looking around today at other places to compare mattress prices. Will be going down to Robinsons tomorrow and if everything is ok, think we will buy it. Feel abit heartache...

Headaches about room arrangement with bed, sofa, desk, tv console and dressing table. Seems impossible to put everything in there! Argh!!! Somemore we need those big desk where both of us can sit at the table together. Guess we will wreck more brainz tomorrow on this. Wanted to buy the King sized bed but after doing the measurement, seems like Queen size is more practical.

Time to upload some more pics before I turn in. Will update more in next entry. Nite nite and p.s. I LOVE long wkends!!!

Tiffany Doing Yoga...

Here's the little one who is trying to practise her yoga. She watches my mother-in-law practise yoga at times so... there she goes!

We took some pics before I head out to town today! Now, she is at the stage where she wanna walk around and explore things by herself. hee... FuN!

Yeah, it's Holiday!!! & My Arowana!!!

Yesterday was the last working day and I've been looking forward to this holiday for so loong... It's a long wkend. There are many long wkend holidays this year so it's really good news for all of us. Went to Marina Square trying to look for Waraku, our fave japanese restaurant. But we think they have changed the management cos food and menu have kinda changed. Abit disappointed... But isn't that life? Always encountering changes. Can you ever guarantee that nothing will ever change in this world? I don't think so. We took some pics which the "durian" aka esplanade is behind us.

Came back and video arowana while Beau was feeding it... Anybody interested in buying this arowana pls let me know.

Tiring Nite...

Reached home early tonight. Going to HB's place although he will be coming home late tonight. His bosses, colleagues are going out for dinner & drinking session. They are instructed not to drive today to work. I was thinking of picking him up. But alas, don't know how to drive to U E Square lei... i only know it's somewhere near the Sketches, Moham Sultan there. Moreover, not sure what time he will be finishing.

Thought of coming to his place to rest tonight, watch Korean show and read my book. But have been taking of my little niece since 7plus till now, minus away the time when the maid bathed her. We played ball, surf net, play handphone and doodle things together. The little one wanted to go to my in-laws' room and she played there for quite awhile. Told her I going back to "see computer", then she held onto my hand and pulled me towards my own room liao. Meaning, she wants to go with me too. Quite cute right? How to "abandon" her like that. hehe... she's full of funny actions at times. BUt quite tiring man, no time to do my own things. Kids arh, play with them for awhile seems fun. But to really take care of them requires alot of time and energy. No wonder people says to have kids when u r young. You see, I feel abit tired already. RIght now, I don't feel like talking or anything. Shag...

It seems like everybody is too busy to update their blogs. Always no updates when I visit their blogs...

Sometimes I feel that BLOG kinda lose their purpose. In a sense, you want to express something out but there might be some people whom you do not want to read your blog. It's like you can't really express your innermost thoughts although you feel like it. Maybe that's when you need a really really private blog whereby only u and u alone have access to it. I guess most bloggers will have this kinda thought at some point in time.

Feel very exhausted today... think it has been an exhausting week. But I'm looking forward to tomorrow! Cos it's a holiday on Friday!! Yeahie!!!!!

Busy weekend...

Actually not in a very good mood to write in my blog...
Blasting loud dancey music to let it out.

Finally back to work today! Took half day urgent leave today cos Beau was quite sick since last night. Luckily, he is better now. Alot of emotions was being invoked when he was so sick last night. I was so worried... Don't know how to describe. As he is usually very healthy, seeing him suffering in pain last night was heart-wrenching. Health is the most precious thing yah...

Past wkends have been looking around for mattress... for ourselves and parents-in-laws. Their mattress's expiry date is up. Aiyo, visit so many until quite an expert already. Individual pocketed spring, latex, backcare, and there are even different types of pocket springs... stainless steel and scrap metal kind. Comparing prices,.. is it nett, delivery charges, any freebies? etc... Anyway, we have decided what to get for my parents-in-law liao.
As for ours, there is time still so we are still considering.

Tat's all for now...

I wanna keep the Negativity OUT!!! Moody days...

Have been feeling pretty moody these days. Don't know why. Is it due to plain tiredness or pre-wedding jitters? Anyway, I better don snack too much and start reading my book later. Eating junk food zaps my energy away and also makes me put on weight. Have been trying to read my book the whole day cos I was on mc today. But there simply wasn't time to do it.

Argh! I must keep my negativity OUT! Anyway, looking forward to going to spa with Karin tomorrow. hee... Seems like woman have lotsa of idea to make themselves feel happy. For me, I can count on shopping therapy, spa therapy, chocolates (especially dark ones), japanese food, italian food or going to a beach resort for holidays to feel happy. But of course, these are just the temporary exihilarations only. Happines comes from within our heart. Spending time with our loved ones makes me feel happy too. Read from somewhere: Surround yourself with happy or positive people, people you truly love. I will try to do that.

I miss my HB and Xiaobai. I really need to bath my dog this wkend liao. didn't bath him last week so he's a stinko by now. Wanted to on last Sunday night but beau says he will catch a cold especially after there was a big rain. haha... at times he's our dog's welfare officer.

Ok, tat's all for now. It's book time...

Mr Leow, just a reminder, we have 1 month to our photo-taking so it's time for US to SLIM DOWN. Pls start exercising from this weekend onwards!!! Your tooth is out so no more excuses. hee... GGJY!

Hero of the day - on 2nd April 2006

2nd April 2006(11am) was the D-day for Beau. It was the first time in his life that he is going to extract a tooth and it was a wisdom tooth somemore. He had been having tooth-ache for quite a while liao. But he's the kind that will cover his eyes when he see blood on tv show and extremely afraid of injections. Hence, you can see why he has been dragging on and on and not going to see dentist.

He actually made the appointment himself after hearing from his colleagues that this might affect those teeth besides it if it is not being pulled out. I went into the dentist room to give him moral support. The dentist was very pro. Told hubby that he will test if the area is being numbed. While doing that, he was actually trying to pull the tooth out liao. And it was over before we knew it. I saw the tooth and there was such a big hole. OMG! how come he can tahan to this extent? After we came out of the clinic, he told me he was perspiring cold sweat. I was then laughing away. He was clammy then... like a lizard. But the extraction process itself is not painful, it's the after-effect when the numbness goes off...

We took the tooth back with us. I cleaned and bleached it when we came home as he wanna keep it for memory sake.
I prepared a card for Beau to reward him for being so brave. But no pic taken of it at the moment. Luckily, his wisdom tooth are on the upper gum. It still hurt a bit till now.

I prayed hard that I don't have to extract my wisdom tooth cos I'm terrified of tooth extraction too. Moreover, mine are on the lower jaws. Will be even more pain. Can't even imagine right now.

I have a habit to floss and gargle after meals... hope this will keep my teeth in good shape.

Just for Fun!

Back from my Indian lunch... Not bad... meeting up with some of my gal friends tonight for dinner...

Had some pics which didn't have time to post up previously. So here they are. Hope u enjoy looking at them. hee... Actually, I feel happy when i browsed through the pics inside my digital camera. Guess we only take pictures when we are happy hence it brings happiness when we flip back our photo albums. I'm someone who will take out the photo albums once in a while to reminise... Nostalgic person yah... ;P

Good day to everyone!

That's Xiaobai... sleeping soundly already. Zzzz... Btw, he snores at times too.

Father-In-Law's Birthday!!!

Watching campus superstar while updating my blog... hee... took lotsa pic with my sunflower and niece Tiffany! She is addressing me as "jie-jie" nowadays which means sister in mandarin. She only called me "xiao shen" 2 months back which I was totally in shock! hiak hiak... so happen Beau was video-recording us playing so that moment was captured right on spot.

She's a little joy in our family. Kids really bond the family together but it's a big commitement yah! I'm contended to be playing with her. She likes me alot too... Big smilez!
