Woke up by the little one's kicking!

I was actually struggling to wake up this morning. Slept at One plus am last night. Let the alarm snooze and snooze. but the little one inside seems all ready to wake up and action. Kicked me here and there. and I feel at times, it's stretching. can feel it in my left and right tummy simultaneously. And I played with him. he kick kick a few times n stop. I will then tap there a few times. then he will kick back. haha... read fm somewhere we can interact with them like this. bonding....

One interesting thing is that on my gynae visit on Monday, I asked him why the baby only kicked me towards the right side of my tummy. none on the left side. His reply was that this is normal. their positioning is like this. and woman who are going into labour usually hold their right side when they admit to hospital. Then today the baby started to kick me on the left side! Did he hear my "concern"? And wanted to show me that he's fine? haha...

I could start to feel him stretching today. Feel amazing and it's real cool.

I'm starting my last trimester liao. Time really flies yah. I will treasure the pregnancy period!

Back to work.

Baby Fair Purchases!

Last Saturday was a super busy day... went to Taka Baby Fair early in the morning. Bought the Pigeon milk steriliser set (with newborn set) and car seat! Each cost around $149. As I was one of the early birds, got their goodie bag as well! hehe... infant clothings and barang barang inside.

Walked in the wrong direction to Robinson. ended up near mrt station.... waiting to cross a road. Argh! Can u see my "shag" look?
Then I wanted to walk to Robinson. I don't know how on earth I could have walked the opposite direction. Gosh! And i ended up taking a train to Somerset. It was a super hot day man! But Robinson was having sales for Graco Citisport stroller so gotta get there. very light-weight (abt 4.5kg), easy to close and open meaning I can handle it easily. it can stand on its on when closed. the only con that i could see was that it's for use from 3~4months onwards and the stroller seemed abit small for a 18~20kg. I figured i can sling the baby when it's below 4 mths. But the "seemed small" part made me hesitate to buy immediately. The friendly staff told me Robinson has a "reserve" policy. So I reserved and wanted Allan to go see in the evening if it's worth it. We went in the evening and decided to get it.

So the critical things have been purchased! Nothing much liao. haha... We initially tot nothing much to buy except for milk steriliser. Now 3 big items bought!

My stroller has arrived today! Taka delivery will come tomorrow. My eldest bro-in-law just passed me alot of barangs last Sat. Now, the space above my wardrobe is packed!
hmm... i was too busy shopping for stuff that I didn't take pics of the stuff bought...

24 weeks and counting....

I received a startling sms few days ago that goes like this:
"Delivery booking at Mount Alvernia Hospital for LEO CAROLYN confirmed. Thank you."

It happened during office hours and I could felt andrenalin pulsing through my body at that instant! I just switched gynae to CH Koh @ Toa Payoh and I did inform him that I would want to deliver at Mount A. But I didn't expect the booking to happen so fast. Tot they will book maybe in my 7th or 8th month? This was totally unexpected. Delivery = Giving birth = Pain! That's how I associate it at the moment.

Today, I received their package.... hehe... quite excited though.Going for their ante-natal class this Thursday evening! Hope Allan and I will keep our eyes open.

Alot of things to think about... like what to prepare. I am not sure what are the MUST-Buy items too. Clueless! Mavis told me Takashimaya baby section have a checklist. I should go and grab a copy. I also saw a website http://www.baybsupplies.net/shoplist.htm that is pretty good. telling u what to prepare for your new-born and what to pack for your admission to hospital. Jenny also gave me a "What to Pack for birth" handy list. I appreciate all the tips!

I was just calculating over the weekend how much spent on maternity clothing till now. $500++. erm... quite alot but I can say I have bought enough liao. NO MORE BUYING! My buying spree at Spring Maternity was the most shiok! woahaha...

ok, feeling cranky again.

P/s: Looking forward to my gynae visit on 17-Mar. see ya baby then! =)
