I'M Finally Back with Updates and Pics!

I have just reached home at 9.10pm today. Supposed to come home early and rest. Went Popular to get my book and there is the Espirit shop beside it. It was screaming SALES!!!

Thought of not going in as didn’t really want to spend money on clothes. However, the thought of “No harm going in to take a look” made me step into the shop. And gosh! Lots of clothes for sale. Tried some clothes and also looked around to see if there are clothes suitable for mother-in-law. Not much choices for MIL after looking around. Was queuing up to pay for my purchase when I saw an Auntie holding up a piece of pink top. Thought it looked nice for MIL, I went instantly to take a closer look. To my dismay, there were only Large sizes left. Went back to queue to pay up. Abit upset that can’t find any top for her. Nvm, there will always be next time. Bought my top at 70% off! Feels great… it’s shopping therapy yah! Will try to post pic with the top next time!

Surprisingly, I didn’t feel any pang of hunger while I was shopping. Stepped out of the shop at around 8.50pm… Trying to relax while at home now. It seems kinda impossible thou. After washing up, I put on my mask, power up my PC, uploading pics now to the blog and sipping fruit juices that mum had prepared. Hmm… think there’s carrot, celery and apple in it. Yummy! Detoxing while having mask on…. Sounds like I’m in a spa. Haha….

Lots of thoughts flying around in my head. Read a book at Popular just now on why man can only do one thing at a time. I read on for the answer because I kena complain by HB sometimes when I talk to him when he’s engrossed in something. Not sure if you gals encounter this when u talk to the other half. The explanation is that man’s brain is compartmentalize and etc… in short, their mind can only focus one thing at a time. So it’s not like they are rude or what. That’s how their brains function.

Still uploading my blog pics now. Should be complete soon….
Getting kinda impatient now. Going to iron my clothes in the meanwhile.

Thank GOD! Finished uploading the pictures already! Pls scroll down and see…
Cheers!

Time for a Rest tonight...

My brain is too tired to work now. Hence, here I am here just to blog for while. Thinking of my journey home, it seems pretty far right now. And I think it's gonna rain big time soon with all the thunders going outside. Actually am being invited for dinner with a project team at the Japanese restaurant (PSA building). However, I think rest is more important. So I am going home straight after work. No more other activities…

I am just going to Northpoint to buy a book before I head home. Hopefully, I am able to load some more pics tonight and post it up. Perhaps watch my korean serials…. U see, there's lotsa stuff to do at home too! Hehe… I'm going to take it easy.

Things to look forward this wkend:
1) Going to Parkway Parade (Sakuraya Fish Market) to eat sashimi… *this was planned last weekend. Hiak hiak*
2) Spending time with HB & Xiaobai at home.
3) Beau is going to extract his wisdom tooth this Sunday and I'm going to give him moral support!

In my head, I can recall Beau's encouragement.. GGJY! hee... thanks for that!

Will see how tonight goes and wish me luck!

I WILL PERSERVERSE... *not sure of the spelling thou.*

Frenzy Me!

Trying to upload my pics and everything onto the blog. It's a pity that my pics are about 2MB+ and it takes forever to upload them. *Sob sob…* Erm… my Sunday posting is still in my draft and I am trying my best to post it online asap. Though minimal pics will be posted cos it will be too time-consuming liao.

These couple of days will be kinda busy! With evening events today, tomorrow evening and during day-time tomorrow, a program manager will be coming down from San Diego. So I guess will be tied up with meetings… Ok, take a deep breath and smile!

Suddenly, I believe a Smile will calm me down and "Thou shall not be Frenzy"…. *I'm just trying to be poetic in the last part. Can't remember if it's thou or thy. Whatever?*

Cheers!

Wedding Gowns Part 2=> Actual date: 27 Mar

Really hate to leave my bed this morning as it was drizzling. Such nice cool weather where sleeping in would be the best thing to do. Of course, with your loved ones beside you. *Back to reality!* It's a Monday and I thought I had a pretty good rest where I slept at 11pm last night. Considered as early already.

Went to JB yesterday to see more gowns. This time round, Michelle and her hb Elton went together with us. It was pretty fun, but minus the causeway jams pls. There were jams to and fro which was pretty hard to comprehend. Is it the Qing Ming festival or? Anyway, we only spent about 1 hour at the bridal shop. Pics time!

Beau sent his car for waxing so we took a cab to JUSCO. It's M&E's 1st time there! i should have taken a pic of our table during lunch. It was full. lotsa dishes. We were very full after the meal at East Court.

Taken while picking up Beau's car after waxing. Here's the FILA bag gals!

Chosen by Michelle...a halter-neck gown. Looks not bad yah!
My dear Michelle and Elton who are trying to be funny. Measuring each other's features like ear, nose, etc. haha... they sure know how to entertain themselves.
another gown chosen by Michelle... how does it look? Abit korean style?

I took a pic of this gown the other time. this is a clearer pic.

This one is chosen by Elton! Tried it on to see a guy's taste. Looks nice from the back but it made my hips look abit wide... so it's out.
Tried this gown selected by mich. Like it alot too but I think will choose it for actual day.

This is my outdoor gown...

Maple Syrup = Caramel Sauce ???

Once upon a time, a lady asked her husband to go and order a waffle @ gelare. Reason is it is always the wife who goes and order it. So she decided her HB should do it for this time round.

After a long queue, he came back and ask the wife, "Why does the cashier charge me additional $1.60 for caramel sauce?" The wife cannot believe it as she has never encountered it ever before. She went up to the counter and checked out the reason.

The manager came over and replied: "Hi Madam, your boyfriend just now ordered caramel sauce which is being charged separately." The wife thought to herself, "Aiyo, how come my HB doesn't know the difference between maple sauce and caramel sauce." *faintz* ATG!

He felt embarrassed when the wife told him what happened and gave him his $1.60 back. Well, this is what happened to us last night and I simply loved to dig at him for this. Had a good laugh over it last night. ;P

hope it didn't bore any one of u.

Sakae Sushi with Karin...

Gosh, it's a pretty tiring day for me! Slept late last night and not feeling too well these few days. After pondering for a while, I realised the reason. PMS! Makes me feel irritable too.

It's been a pretty long time since I met up with Karin. We made an inprompto date. Met up at Northpoint as Orchard would be too inconvenient for her. Some of the pics that we took. We even kana complain from the shop. Cannot take pic of the sushi... whatever...

There is something very wrong with the blog thing. Somehow certain pics cannot be uploaded. Fed up of trying liao. So only upload 1 pic.

Ok, take a deep breath and keep my cool....phew!

IT's Tuesday again...

It's that day of the week and we have decided to go to Gelare to indulge in waffles ice-cream again yesterday! This time round, we didn't wait long for the waffle. Guess last week's crowd was due to school holidays...

HB gotta feed his arowana fish before we went out... his house is somehow like a mini-zoo.

Xiaobai was so anxious to go out with us. Barking away later on. Poor boy.... miss him...

Me home after a saatisfying supper! hee... These 2 pics for Mich who says that she seldom see me wear so casual... haha!

Dedicated to KNIGHT....

I am very tired at this point in time. Been home late for the past few days. Today and the wkends will be extremely busy as well. Gonna miss him.

Today's blog will be dedicated to Knight who is so supportive of me. You are always there to keep me going! It means a GREAT deal to me. I really really appreciate it. Whenever I receive your words of encouragement through sms, it just brings a smile to my face… :) I'm pretty emotional right now... and don't know how else to express what I feel. Maybe a bear hug?

Deep down from my heart. Carol

What a wait on Tuesday!

This is my niece Tiffany whose toy of the moment is our keyboard wrist pad! She's adorable...

Guess what sign board is this? No prize for getting it right!

The place is really crowded!
I simply can't wait to dig into my waffle ice-cream at Gelare. HB and I share this. We waited a loooong time (45 mins) for it! *Faintz*

We went there earlier than usual but still ended up home at 10plus... due to the waiting time. Evening time is always so precious... Gone in a flash before you know it.

Reached home today at 9.15pm after a meeting. Dead tired. Like a zombie now. I'm getting lazier in updating my blog. Will do so after I have more time.

Dinner with Parents @ Fortunate Rest.

It's been a busy week and finally today Sunday was really an Off day for me. Made an appointment with parents to bring them out for dinner last Sun. Dad always have to work for long hours for the past few weeks so it's kinda hard to talk much during wkdays.

We went to "Xing Fu Yin Cha Lou" or Fortunate Resturant in Toa Payoh. It was actually the restaurant where my parents held their wedding 27 years ago. And next Sat is their wedding anniversary so it was kinda a celebration in a nostalgic place no doubt the restaurant had undergone renovations. Through our conversation, understood from them that there is no cake-cutting session and champagne pouring session during their time. How about yum-seng then? They told me bride, groom and families just went up the stage with their own glass and there they go....!

I was so happy when I saw that the restaurant is also selling dim sum during dinner! Most restaurants don't sell dim sum for dinner. So we happily ordered some dim sum as appetitser. Ordered cod fish, Indonesia curry prawns and roasted chicken. All were delicious! But the Indonesia curry prawns is really nice! Dad ate 2 bowls of rice cos the curry gravy is yummy. Must try it! Walked around Toa Payoh central then to digest our food before we head home.

I must say it has been a really enjoyable day! Took some pics before we set off for Toa Payoh....
Mum & I were both in green...

FULL HOUSE Pics Time!

FULL HOUSE!

Took these pics of my doggie this morning! Can u imagine how he needs to laze o his "bed" just like human? Beau always say "Xiaobai has a very good life". He usually laze on his bed till we are dressed and are leaving for work. That's when he will get his ass up, shake himself awake and then send us to the door. haha...

Well, not going for breakfast today so wanna just blog for awhile.

I am watching a korea serial "Full House". The male actor Lee Ying Zhai (Real-life:Rain) is a kinda childish and "ye-man" guy in it. Hubby started to join me and watched this show. A little secret.... he and Lee Ying Zhai seems to have abit of the same character. Abit childish at times and he does give me nicknames which I would rather not to mention here just like what the male actor does to his wife. He also finds it a joy to get me angry which Ying Zhai always does it to his wife! When I saw that part in the show, I just couldn't believe that! I noticed one more thing. They have the same type of small eyes... WOA haha... We simply enjoyed watching the show cos it seems like we are watching ourselves at times. No wonder they says movies are based on real-life pretty much. Maybe just abit more exaggerated.

Ok, that's all for now. gotta work now.

Tonight's another event for Principal Secret. HB will be going too! hope to post more pics of the event....

TGIF!!! Friday Movie: Madagascar!

IT's finally Friday! Watched Full House(korea show) till 12 last night. Pretty tired today. But it's ok. Wkend is here!

A good news! Yoga will be at 7am instead of 6.30am from now on! So I can wait up half an hour later. hee....

Today, our recreation club is screening the movie: Madagascar! Will be watching it later at 2pm. Yippeee... tat will make time flies faster and before i know it, it's knock-off time.

Hmm....where to head for dinner with HB? still thinking...
Cheers!

Girls' Nite Out!

Finally met Jenn yesterday after she has left the company! It's been about 25 days since I saw her. We (Mich and I) kinda miss her. We had our dinner at Delifrance, I suggested it cos it was 1st day of the Lunar calendar and only can order egg mayo sandwich. Here's some pics at Deli. Btw, our itinery was makan and shopping!!! We deliberately planned it after pay day... We treated Jenn(suggested by her) as we won some TOTO during CNY period. haha....

Mich's friend Pauline joined us too for shopping. We shopped around for a while & suddenly Pauline and Jenn felt like singing. I suggested abandoning shopping and head for karaoke instead and all agreed!

Went to K-Box to sing our lungs out.

Actually there are alot of funny and scary pics that we took. But I have difficulty loading them up. So forget about it.

Enjoyed last night! We will definitely have more outings yah!
