He's biting on a tupperware container....grrrrr..... he has learnt to pull out my keyboard and banging all his energy on it! thank god my keyboard is wireless... hiak hia... i took it out onto my table instead so let him bang on the keyboard tray nia. :P

*Marley & Me*

For our dept's offsite today, we went to watch Marley & me. Basically, it revolves around a couple's life with their marriage, career and later on, their dog(Marley) and kids....

I really like the show because I found that I could relate to it...
-> To their love for their dog before they had kids

-> To cope with a totally new lifestyle after having a child and having a dog in the meantime too.
>> there was this scene whereby Jennifer just manage to get her kids nap and she just lay down for a seond. Her husband then drove in and the dog got on his usual barking. And the kids were awoken. She couldn't take it and asked Owen to send the dog away.

-> Those exasperating times when the wife is too tired after handling the baby the whole day. And I can tell you how much it means just to see the husband home.
>> reminds me of weekend previously and my maternity leave period.... whereby my life revolves around breastfeeding baby, changing diaper, patting him to sleep and that's when eating meals and bathing becomes a chore cos what I wished was to SLEEP. cos baby waking up almost every hourly at nite is no joke.

-> When the wife snapped at the husband who was too slow in lending a hand. Jennifer Aniston wanted to take a shower and the colicky baby needed a diaper change and she tasked Owen with it. He took over but within a minute, the wife was back and shooed the hb away with resentment.

Usually when I watched a show, it's in my imagination or fascination world that I like it. But I like this show because it's damn real.... :)

Somewhere Over The Rainbow

In the evening of 25-Feb, I saw this Amazing, spectacular and perfect Rainbow in the skies! I just couldn't resist snapping pictures while in the car and even when I got home. Boy, was I glad to still catch a glimpse of it standing outside my home.

Pointed it to Allan and he was in awe too! I was so excited and proud to spot the rainbow & my next statement was super kiddish,"Where's the care-bears? They like to slide down from the rainbow." er.... silence fm hubby. no reply. woahaha......

How long do growth spurts last?
Growth spurts usually last 2-3 days, but sometimes last a week or so.

It's been 3 nights since he's waking up and drinking alot of milk.

J is a milk monster these days! buay tahan... really scare he's going to be overweight later on.

Gathering at Chris's house after JWT session

Christina invited us to her place for a CNY gathering. I "chiong" there after bringing J to the JWT class. hiak hiak... mummy on her busy Sat.

It's really hard to take a decent pic when you got 2 kiddos on hand. NONE of the pics showed both of them looking into the camera. Only Ice and me were doing so. :P

If this was fast-forwarded to 15 years later, Jayden will be in deep shit. keke....

Ok, smtg's suddenly wrong with my internet.... so just managed to upload today's pics. Wanted to do so for last Sat as well. argh! last week's were like "Nat Geo" pics. haha.... swamp okay!

I'll do that when my network is Ok... Anyway, this morning, lil bugger got up at 5.25am and crawled around, caress my hair until he got pek chey and jolt me up at 5.50am! *YAWN*

"Mummy, there's a bird over there!". haha... today, he started to keep pointing to birds. Whenever we saw some, he would raise one or both his arms at them.... as if he's going to catch them. (only managed to capture this one shot nia).

It's V-Day!

First Valentine's Day with lil one around this year! We don't buy V-Day gifts for one another... but I got a small little thing for him. *giggles* and it's still on his desk (he haven't discover it)... *sneaky grin*

Anyway, Allan and I have started our "family morning time" during Sat & Sun since last wkend. That is we will bring Jayden to nature places in the morning before he goes to work. At least we are able to bond as a family. If not, I work Mon-Fri and he works almost Every day (7days a week), only time left is night time...

Oh, btw, he's taking the day off tomorrow!!! Hip hip hooray!

A Date

Took half day off for a date with hubby last fri. We need to do this once in awhile cos he works on both Sat and Sun from 10am to 6pm. And we no longer go for Fri dinners cos Ah Bi looks for mummy when he wants to sleep! So basically our "pak tor" life is zilch.

Therefore it means ALOT to spend an afternoon alone with hb... BUT somehow he will have tons of calls coming in. After coming back from his calls, he explained usually he's not like this busy. BUT whenever we go on somekind of date, he will be super busy SUDDENLY. So I jokingly said,"Then I should meet you everyday cos you will then be super busy which is good for business." haha...

I'm NOT complaining. It's OK to go do your things cos I know you can't help it. I can go shopping, etc to relax while you go do ur things ok! I'm Independant.

Anyway, we had our lunch buffet which was a tad disappointing. We are wondering if Sunday brunch would be better than wkday lunch cos we ate the former previously. It wasn't as good as what we remembered. OK, this is our pre-Valentine's Day meal. Very early right? Lolz... This is just an excuse...

After lunch, we had 2 choices - 1st: Go home and accompany Jayden. 2nd: Watch movie. Dilemma man! Allan let me make the call! *argh! headache* On one hand, feels that seldom we get to spend time as a family. On the other hand, we also seldom have chance to pak-tor. In the end, I chose #2! We watched The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. It is a great show! It's a sad love story but the ending is a nice one. At least Brad Pitt died in his loved one's arms as a baby. We hadn't catch a movie since... can't rem. Before J was born... Very refreshing!

Had dinner outside with family members (suggested by BIL). Minah who coaxed J to sleep at home. It was OK! He didn't cry or what. She got the knack liao. So we went home to our sleeping baby. I told hubby today," We can go for our Fri dinner once in awhile already! Cos maid can handle J to sleep." *wide grin* When I called home at 7plus, I talked to J and he made those sounds that he usually does when he wants me to carry him. super cute.

All in all, it was a Wonderful Day!

The food isn't that fantastic so didn't take any pics on tt.

P/s: Allan said something illogical and unreasonable that pissed me off and my face just turned black. He said,"You don't look pretty when your face is black." buay tahan. but i couldn't help it lah... sweeten myself with desserts...

The Fun Period

I find that baby at this stage(7months~ ?) is the most adorable!!! I guess before he starts to walk and everything. *heard this before but didn't really believe it till now!*

WHY???
- I'm on cloud nine when he flashes his Million dollar smile! *and flashes his 2 little pearlies*
- Peek-a-boo draws laughters consistently
- He shows his likes and dislikes clearly and verbally
- Observing his environment & people around him in their baby-like manner
- Shouting at times & it's deafening! Believe me....
- His crawl and whatever stunts that he performs never fails to make me laugh (thou some will make me hold my breath for awhile)
- Looking at the door when he wanna gets out
- Stretching out his arms wide apart chasing after you when he needs a carry.
- Doing Hi-5 with Mommy makes her proud (cos it's taught by her). haha...

REMINDER to MYSELF

I am actually lazy to blog... BUT I HAVE TO REMIND MYSELF for the below.

1) DO NOT BUY ANYMORE CLOTHES FOR BABY unless necessary
Just kept the clothes that Jayden has outgrown and check what 1 yr old clothes he has. GOSH! There are like 4 sets (Tops & bottoms), 2 Long-sleeve tops, 3 Polo-tees and 2 T-shirts. I was still thinking of buying a 12months old jeans for him cos he doesn't have it. STOP SHOPPING FOR NOW. Oh ya, I still have a 1 yr jumper in another cupboard. My cupboard are full man.

Having said that, I need to get some sleepwear... Oh ya, now I remembered I ordered some online liao. That's the thing with online shopping. Will forget about it till it arrives. :P

p/s: I must say I didn't buy alot of clothes for my lil one. Alot of those <>

JWT Baby Gym Lesson

Forum-mates organised a JWT Baby gym session and I was excited to bring Jayden to try it out especially since his favourite activity is crawling. We went to the one at East Gate.

After trying it out, I won't sign him up as he's still too young for it. Not worth the money. But the GOOD thing is he slept very well that night. haha... right away after his last feed. can see that his eyes were barely open.

OK, I'm having a treat of Heinz rusks. Look super Pui yah?

Biting hard at it. argh!!!


Taking it out and wacking it here n there before dropping onto the floor. He actually cried after I picked it up and threw it away. but they have short term memory. after fussing for awhile, will forget abt it. :P
