Must Try: Lorong Ah Soo Lor Mee!

Remember I mentioned going to the Hougang hawker center for breakfast on Sat and Sun to try their lor mee and kway chap?

Well, we ordered both on Saturday morning! It was a heavy breakfast.

I ordered 4pcs of chwee-kuey...then 1-person set meal kway chap and 1 additional bowl of kuey.

He went to rackee around and returned back with the tada! famous Lorong Ah Soo Lor-Mee! "The queue was surprisingly not too long so I went to buy," he quips happily.

The Lor-Mee was delicious!!! We finish almost all. There were alot of duck meat inside considering it's $2 a bowl. It's a Must Try if you are there. The hawker center is Blk 105 Hougang Ave 1 and it's at the 2nd level of the Hainanese Village Center.

Yummy, the lor-mee with the minced garlic and chili padi and vinegar added in.... slurpy.

Hubby digging into it while I snap snap...The kway-chap 1 person set meal cost only $2.30! What can I say? The dishes(pig's organs, tau po, etc) are very tasty but the kuey is not so-so only....Ok, this sashimi is kinda out of the pic. This was bought from the NTUC at AMK Hub when I went there last Thursday. Value-for-money. Like this for $4 only. Taste fresh. But too bad not enough soya sauce for me to finish the radish. And I had to pay $0.10 for a pair of chopsticks.
We were on our way to Four-Horse road to pray to the Goddess of Mercy last Friday when we saw these 2 jokers TP. They were riding super slow. And the fat one just stopped like that. The 2 hogging the road. There was this uncle motorcyclist behind them and was beside our car. I looked at him and guess what, he looked at me looking very pissed due to the 2 TP and mouthed," Bloody f^&kers!" I was appalled! He must be damn pissed off. Took a closer shot to illustrate how they stopped. see below....You see.. they should be in single file right? Not side by side.... argh!
