Friday night - Sat morn :)

Am happily chilling out in my room while my 3 babies are soundly asleep. World peace... haha... usually that's what comes to my mind when JJ and Celeste turns in. I will be like \(-_-)/. keke... Celebrated my FIL's 66th Birthday today at Hung Kar Teochew restaurant at Poh Heng Building. Our family has certainly grown! Now with everybody in tow including 2 maids, we need 11 chairs and 2 baby chairs! Oops. such a big table! If my 2nd BIL gets married and have a family, we will need 2 tables. hehe.... It's pretty fun. If not for my MIL who always sulks at dinner. super spoiler. buay tahan. JJ - 33months old. Very talkative these days. Can narrate incidents to me. find it very cute. still as stubborn as usual. can climb up to 12th storeys. still likes to ask for pocket money from his ah-gong every day. rich boy. my sweetest boy. can recognise abc and read the phonics sound like "arh" for A and numbers 1,2,3, etc. Learning well from school. Will be able to take good care of his loved ones. Meimei - 9 months old Upper 2 front teeth have sprouted. Another 2 more upper seems to be emerging. Loves eating porridge. Is our happy girl. loves waving bye bye. simply loves her gor gor. likes to scratch her head. keeps on pulling herself to stand. still cries like mad whenever she poo. The 2 of us - 4years and 6months I am getting slimmer ;) Hubby is getting fatter... thou I don't see any upsize. :p new work challenges for hubby during this period. i just wanna say every change will need getting used to and to think of new ways to cope with the new environment. U can do it. I will always be here for you dear. Always thinking of each other whenever we have a moment. Hmm.. havent had our dinner date yet! Dear, we need to let go one night and have our own time. pls.... keke... No plans for No 3 (in case any of u is thinking of asking me. got few pple ask me liao) Looking at short nearby holiday plans. I got my bonus (70%). balance 30% in July. Hubby got a few more strands of white hair. Don worry dear, i like it and I want to grow old with you................................................... Ok ok, enough of the emo stuff. Nite nite world....................................................................

Lil updates!

Lil Celeste is turning 8 months soon! She can sit up, crawl around and still just have 2 lower razor sharp lower teeth since she was 4mos+!

Her diet is still cereal + seasonal fruit/veggies once a day. She is quite an easy eater and has tried apple, potato, carrot, pumpkin, broccoli, papaya. :) Gonna try sweet potato tomorrow. She has started to eat some porridge which she shares with her gor gor at times. Life is alot easier to make puree thanks to my friends' advice to get a handheld blender and steam at least 1 week's worth during weekend and freeze the rest for weekday.

JJ who still calls himself a baby seems like a big boy to hubby and me. :) He is very chatty now though his prounciation is not that clear. Teachers in school says they need a translator! haha.... but his teachers like him a lot. When I called school to enquire if he is naughty/beat people/sit thinking chair, the principal told me his mouth very "sweet", they loved him to bits n can't bear to ask him sit thinking chair. but generally he is well-behaved in school. :)

But his temper is still very bad. and gets agitated suddenly at times. Try to ask him to express his anger. If not we really have no idea what he is mad at.

He can't bear to see us go to work during the weekdays. With Ah-Gong's explaination that we need to work to earn money for his neh-neh, he kinda understands and at least doesn't cry that badly. And Ah-gong will bring him to playground and they go for roti-prata + teh breakfast! Hmm... he is lucky to have a loving grandpa who never fails to bring him to playground + bf daily. The roti-prata uncle now see them will automatically make an egg prata and he actually cut into small pieces for him while frying it. So it's bite-size. And the drink stall auntie will serve teh automatically! This boy loves TEH! *faint*

When June comes, all my babies are having their birthdays! Hubby - 33. JJ - 3 and Celeste - 1!!!
Haven't thought of how going to celebrate cos it's all SOOOO Near! Hubby- 10th, JJ - 15th, Celeste - 26th!

As for me, waiting for bonus until neck also long long liao. Grr.....

Return to Work in 3 weeks' time!

I am returning to work in 3 weeks' time!!! RINNNNNNNNG! alarm is ringing. My babies are not ready to let mummy go to work.

Jayden is getting stickier to me. And when I asked him,"Mummy go office okay?" He says,"Cannot."

As for Celeste, she is used to me being the sole caregiver especially when helper went back for 3 weeks. Sometimes when passed to helper to take care these days, she will wail loudly till I carry her and there she just stopped the yelling. Am starting to get helper to take care of her in the afternoon for a few hours. But after the weekend, she is back to the "mummy mode" again. Teared the house down again today until I carried her and she stopped 3 seconds after I took over.

Mummy really MISSSSSS U babies! It's lots of adjustments for all of us. Mummy hasn't been working for 4months and has to revived her engines with turbo soon! I am treasuring every single day with u babies. Though mummy is quite tired these days from the previous 5 night saga from Celeste (kept waking up) + my Lasik + Jayden keeps asking to be carried, I feel as if I am going to faint sometimes due to exhaustion.

Managed to catch a nap to re-charged my battery. Need to get my energy level up again.

Still have about 400+ emails to screen through(down from 700). Now these emails are being archived. Trying to sort based on subject header. Can only read those important ones when I return to work.

Really don feel like returning to work. I am getting attached to my babies so much! love to see their every growth, their smiles, their naughty, cheeky little antics. sob sob...

Love getting morning kisses from my son. he now knows how to do the muack (used to just put his face close when we say kiss kiss).
When I pinch his nose in the morning, he pinches mine back.
Gonna miss my Wednesday dates with hubby (his off day).

LASIK

Before having Jayden, I had contemplated with doing Lasik. Then came pregnancy and after my 2nd pregnancy, finally I had decided to do it! Since still on maternity leave.

Actually the main push factor is that I am wearing contact lenses every single day cos it is cumberson to chase after Jayden wearing glasses. And I take them off only when I nap/sleep/bath. Sometimes I am too tired and I actually fell asleep in them n it causes my eyes to itch and become very dry. This is no good for the long run. Hence decided to lasik my eyes for the good of my next 10 years before I start to have "lao hua".

I was supposed to go for the consultation cum evaluation of my eyes. Didn't actually tink of doing it on the same day. But who knows there is a slot that evening, so on the date of 1st-Oct, I had my eyes lasiked.

Pretty nervous while I was in the OT. But as we mothers know, what can be worst than giving birth. keke... I had to remain calm and be brave and relax....

It's best to go home and sleep right after before the numbing effect went off and you start to feel all the effects of the surgery.

For me, not so much of tearing but my nose was blocked and became runny. eyes n nose r all connected but my nose is more sensitive n reacted more than my eyes.

It was sharp vision right after the op but just smoky...

I just saw in the Papers that Shingawa Lasik center is charging $1200 per eye for Wavefront lasik. Felt very "tui". Mine is Custom Laser which is $2688 both eyes. Wavefront is better than Custom for night vision. Damn...

Anyway, hope this dryness will go away soon.

Blogging after a looong while (Me & Myself)

Time for me to blog not on Jayden but purely my tots...

Random thoughts which I'm always too lazy to write down.

HOME - a place that I look forward to going back to after a day's work. even if i'm dog-tired, still can't wait to go back.

SPACE - Sometimes i feel quite suffocated. Life these days is just going to work and going back home. A tad boring yah? Not my usual lifestyle in the past. Things being axed/reduce greatly:

+dinner with hubby outside (don't think i had dinner with hubby outside since 15-June. Did we? hee...)

+Go K with colleagues

+dinner with colleagues/friends

+go shopping

Although people tell me this is best time to go travel, blah blah... cos bb won't cry for u yet. But it's not quite possible. Somehow feel a sense of imposing on family members if I am to have dinner outside. and the Guilt feeling seems to be there. Slowly have to get adjusted and not feel this way. :) Luckily hubby is understanding when I have dinner after work with friends once in a blue moon.

SECURITY - with the recent terrorist acts n chaos in our neighbouring countries, I feel blessed to be in SG with no natural calamities and a safe environment.

Life is indeed different with a kiddo now. While coping with it, I'm cherishing every moment of it!
