Today is our 4th Years Anniversary! 1st June! We almost forgot about it. It's the 4th year since we became a couple. If I didn't remember wrongly, we went for a drink at Insomnia Bar at Chijmes. Then we went to Fort Canning Park for a walk... and that's where he held my hands.... No direct confessions but the way he put it was funny. My heart was fluttering & I was simply giggly away, i think.
Feels really sweet in my heart. Somehow I can still recall it vividly. That just seems like yesterday when we were friends transitioning into boy-girl relationship. Of course during the courtship or honeymoon period, we would dine at fancy restaurants and go for drinks at clubs. Now, into the hubby-wifey mode, we don't spend that kind of non-sensible money. Partly, also we don't like to drink. haha... once in a while, but not our type. He pampers me through his little actions and thoughtfulness. Like he knows I love sashimi, will try to bring me to my fav jap restaurants to eat. Always let me make the choice as to what to eat cos whatever I wish to eat, he will be fine with it. I am the fussy one. I loved to watch Sex & the City, he bought the serials for me to watch.
To me, life is never predictable. LIFE IS A GAMBLE. Every step that you make. It is all about choices which we are even making in our life every single day, albeit small ones. What to eat, what to wear, what to ?....
For those who are married, how do you know your husband is the one for you?
The connection, the gut feel that he's the one I can always relied and trust upon, the feeling that I can't live without him did it for me.
