Selecting of Wedding Gowns!

Today seems to an exciting and adventurous day for Beau & me! First, we were going to find the new shopping center Jusco in Tebrau. Then going to select my wedding gowns...

We hit the road at 9plus and luckily, there wasn't much of a traffic jam and we were in Msia at 10.30am. It is quite a drive to Jusco. Finally reached there. Clothes there like Espirit were not really cheap. We went supermarketing! Bought some snack and biscuits... There is a restaurant which seems to be our Fish & Co. It's called Manhattan Fish Market. The fish is great and I found it very worthwhile. 1 set of Fish & chips cost ringgit $15! Yummy...

I got pretty nervous & excited on our way to the bridal shop. Told Beau and he replied: "You nervous meh? Tot you are alright one?" Well, it's my first and once-in-a-lifetime event yah! ;P

Things went better than I expected! Manage to select my 7 gowns within 2 hours! But I felt pretty tired though...after the repetitive action of taking off and putting on a gown. gosh! Beau was very patient and even mentioned that the speed that I change gown is faster than during shopping for clothes in Spore! hee.... I personally selected my evening gowns and am very satisfied with it! One bad thing was that I brought my digital camera, hoping to capture some shots and post it here. Alas! Didn't realise that the battery was flat. Haiz... that's the only "sad story" of the day. But it's ok... Beau took a couple of shots thru my mobile phone. But having problem downloading the pics from phone now. If it does later, I will post it up!

I AM SO EXCITED!!! And am looking forward to it! OUr photo shot is on 7th April. Hopefully the weather will be fine and sunny for us.

Oh god, I feel like a small little princess in those gowns! Waiting for my Knight in shining armour....

Smilez!!!

Time Seems to Pass so fast...

Had a pretty hectic week. Felt so lethargic on Thursday that I left office at 10plus after seeing a doctor. Felt like a zombie. I was completely drained of my energy and was totally unable to focus. And since I need to be in office on Fri, I decided to go back and rest. At least to energise myself for Friday.

Lately, it seems that my Beau and I are busy with our own lives especially during the wkdays. He gets home only at around 9pm from Mon to Thurs. So I really treausure our much-appreciated wkends together. Knowing today that I have to meet Charlotte for meeting during the morning and later in the evening for an event, I told her I won't be going for Sat's yoga. And also on Sun cos I need to spend more time with family. Hope to be ard Beau more. And I think I need more rest to recharge my batteries. But she was kinda drained too today and in the end, we just went for the evening event @ Mandarin Hotel renewly renovated lounge. I was so glad to spend the whole morning and afternoon with Beau.

Well, I am looking forward to tomorrow cos we are heading to JB to select gowns as well as to their new shopping center JUSCO to shop around! Yeahie! We gonna spend the whole day together tml! All smiles! Stay tuned for updates! I hope that everything will go smoothly tomorrow.

Carol's Theory :"How to determine a country's pace of life"

Today, I strolled home. Not exactly walked home or what. Just that I took my own sweet time walking. Had dinner at Seah Imm Food Center again. Had my 2nd bowl of fish soup for the day. Walked to the harbourfront mrt. Realised people were rushing around me. I really felt like I was in my own world. Suddenly had a thought. To see the country's pace of life, you just need to see how fast the people walked. To me, Singapore is a very fast-paced city. It seems like everywhere you go, people are always rushing, dashing, etc. Maybe there are a few like me today. I just felt tired and need to relax by walking slowly. The day is over so why bother rushing. Have rushed enough during the day already. Should just slow down and "smell the roses".

But on the other hand, it could be that people are rushing to meet their loved ones. It's great to be back with your family or friends after work. To catch up on the day.

To come back to my own theory, "How fast the people walks in the country shows the pace of life there". I believe if you go to neighbouring countries like Thailand, Philippines or Malaysia, you will realise that it's more relaxed over there cos everything moves at a slower pace.

I believe most of us belongs to the "fast-paced" type most of the times. Unless you are one of the rare one. If you are, pls let me know. ;P

Stressful Monday!

Time seems to fly past this morning. My desk is in a complete mess with many components laying around. It is driving me abit insane now! God, pls help.

My blog entries might be getting lesser these days. Very busy. There's so much things to do. Time just seems to fly past me. Also, I also need time to reflect.

Hopefully, reflect to be a better person. Also, to write less crappy stuff. Have been crapping too much, I guess.

As for u bloggie gals, pls keep it going. I really enjoy reading them to get updates of ur life since we don't really meet up that often.

Cheers!
