This is my boy who never fails to brighten my day. Though he is transiting from Terrible 2 to Horrible 3, he is still our big baby.

He still wants us to carry him. I think he simply wants our attention. Now I am suffering from aching arms and backs. Really need a massage man. Makes me feel lethargic. Need to start exercising man but where to find time?!?!??!

He is enjoying his music class and it is our Sunday routine to bring him to class, have his fishball noodles and then YOGURT! This is the treat that he is waiting for. :)

He has a love and hate relationship with his sister. He hates her because she likes to snatch his bolster and bite it! And he gets real mad when it is wet with her saliva. haha...

He keeps asking why x a zillion times. But that's the norm for his age. He totally understands what we are talking about be it Eng or Mandarin.
Once I was telling Allan in Mandarin and thought Jayden was doing his own things, "You accompany him lah. I go downstairs to bring up the newspapers."

the next moment, he said to his Daddy,"Daddy, you go and take newspaper. Mummy stay here with me."
Dud! Totally unexpected. hahaha...

Doing for his first dental appt tomorrow. Not sure what to expect though. :P

Celeste@ 15mos old

Celeste is coming to 15mos old next Monday.

She can call everyone in the family including extended family clearly.
Daddy, mummy, papa, mama, ah-gong, ah-ma, gor-gor, da-jie, er-jie, didi, ah peh, ah-mum, aunty, uncle, bu2.

Can walk well, but doesn't like solid food.

She is a quick learner in terms of speech and understanding what we are saying. Can say bird, clock, count 1,2,3,4,5, imitate crying when we ask her who cried just now, loves to say Hallo to strangers when we go for walks, loves to kiss her gor-gor!

Basically, she is a happy baby with a fierce temperament. Especially when she gets jealous of her gor-gor. Both kids stick to me when I'm home. Though feel "breathless" at times, but tell myself to enjoy it before they grow up and spread their own wings.

Time flies and she is like a big girl now.hehe... love her beautiful eyes and pouty mouth. my lil cutie tigress.

Singapore Election 2011

It was voting day on 7th May 2011 where all had to vote except for Tanjong Pagar constituency which is led by our Mentor Minister Lee Kuan Yew.

I am in Aljunied GRC which was under the "hottest" GRC which WP Low Thieh Kiang contested against PAP George Yeo.

Throughout the campaigning, I am so eagerly waiting for News time to watch what PAP and the opposition parties are highlighting. I felt what the WP said are really concerns of the citizens. At least to me. And PM Lee apologies for the lapse in housing, transport n security 3 days before the voting day made me feel that PAP had FINALLY admitted sorry for their mistakes after these were tirelessly questioned by opposition these 2 weeks. Singapore is lucky to have a great founding father who built Singapore to where we are now. But We need a government that can hear the citizen's voices, is transparent and admit mistakes when things happen and even apologize so that we can all improve and move on in the right direction. It is pointless whenever I see government's answer on the rising HDB cost and how they keep justifying.

This day has come where opposition for the 1st time won a GRC from PAP's hands. The next 5 years will be the next change of tide where I hope the WP will not let Aljunied residents down. And I believe our government will improve and emerge better with the change.

I look forward to the next election. But I hate the fact when that means I am 5 years older! Haha...

Long weekend

I had a 4days break due to the Good Friday last fri n took leave for eye review on Monday.

Had buffet lunch with darling at Traders Hotel. Yummy food and there was 1for1 so it was super worth it! I hadn't take half day to do my own things for a long time! Haiz, working here is like no life.

I have decided to take half day every alternate Friday to relax. Haha... Planning only... Whahaha... See how it goes. Need to go for my facial, shop for things... Hee... And dating with hb... Thou he will suddenly be very busy whenever we go dating!

The tot to take half day is to do my own things without any stress or pressure. It is the only time for me to do things alone. When I won't have to answer why I took so long to do this or that. Time out alone with hubby is precious enough n I really enjoyed the lunch yesterday :)

Finally have the time to go do my pedi! My cuticles r so jia lat... Hee. Both bb napping n hb just back so I can come n do pedi. Shiok! Else hard to find time.

But it's damn difficult to find a place to do. All asked me to come back at 6+pm! I reached here at 3pm. Imagine!

Signed Jayden up for his school trip to Singapore Health Promotion board tml. Hope he enjoys it n learn the good habits :) gg to pack his poky biscuits tonight so he will look forward to school outings! This boy is v special. He will have strong likes n dislikes.

Hmm... What r my plans this weekends? Need to c hubby schedule then can plan our outings. And gg to attend colleague's bb shower n meet up with Ivy!!! Hee...

Friday night - Sat morn :)

Am happily chilling out in my room while my 3 babies are soundly asleep. World peace... haha... usually that's what comes to my mind when JJ and Celeste turns in. I will be like \(-_-)/. keke... Celebrated my FIL's 66th Birthday today at Hung Kar Teochew restaurant at Poh Heng Building. Our family has certainly grown! Now with everybody in tow including 2 maids, we need 11 chairs and 2 baby chairs! Oops. such a big table! If my 2nd BIL gets married and have a family, we will need 2 tables. hehe.... It's pretty fun. If not for my MIL who always sulks at dinner. super spoiler. buay tahan. JJ - 33months old. Very talkative these days. Can narrate incidents to me. find it very cute. still as stubborn as usual. can climb up to 12th storeys. still likes to ask for pocket money from his ah-gong every day. rich boy. my sweetest boy. can recognise abc and read the phonics sound like "arh" for A and numbers 1,2,3, etc. Learning well from school. Will be able to take good care of his loved ones. Meimei - 9 months old Upper 2 front teeth have sprouted. Another 2 more upper seems to be emerging. Loves eating porridge. Is our happy girl. loves waving bye bye. simply loves her gor gor. likes to scratch her head. keeps on pulling herself to stand. still cries like mad whenever she poo. The 2 of us - 4years and 6months I am getting slimmer ;) Hubby is getting fatter... thou I don't see any upsize. :p new work challenges for hubby during this period. i just wanna say every change will need getting used to and to think of new ways to cope with the new environment. U can do it. I will always be here for you dear. Always thinking of each other whenever we have a moment. Hmm.. havent had our dinner date yet! Dear, we need to let go one night and have our own time. pls.... keke... No plans for No 3 (in case any of u is thinking of asking me. got few pple ask me liao) Looking at short nearby holiday plans. I got my bonus (70%). balance 30% in July. Hubby got a few more strands of white hair. Don worry dear, i like it and I want to grow old with you................................................... Happy day - work :)

Today was quite a pretty good day. Had a major "breakthrough" in work area. haha... A simple task that can be done easily in previous jobs has to face lotsa constraints in the company that I work in. Damn. But finally it has been pushed through and it feels damn good. And it's kinda funny that I am the 2nd lowest rank in the meeting. Most are managers, Assistant Directors and even a Director. heehee. Feels good to report back to my Assistant Director that this can be done. And went through the final round of Service Contracts that I am handling and things passed through smoothly. My aim is to perform consistently well this year. And to reach the target that I set out. I realised in this company, relationships and knowing when to escalate is the key to success. This is the basis of working life. but here, everyone can bloody freaking play tai-chi cos company too big and too many dept. This simply jeopardise the things that I set out to do. Like my big boss mentioned to me that I need to voice out more. I need to improve on my reporting skills. Not apt in reporting to such high management, I guess. I am still learning and I aim to grasp it well this year. Sometimes the things that I do are supporting our backend operations. It is difficult to be seen or measured. So it seems kinda trivial to bring up and talk to boss about it. I do admire my big boss's vision. More and more, I start to believe in what he says about everything has to come from the ground. It cannot all come from my AD but for someone who is used to working with a lean team and able to manage all, it is really difficult for him to let go just like that. Now that my big boss is promoted to Vice President, next should be promoting Gary to Director. And with that, I believe he will be too swarmed with technical and operation issues to "chap" so much. Good and bad, good in the sense that Gary understands what and how we do things. Can sense he's putting on a "Director" cap now. Good for him too. :) I need to seriously sit down and think of all the things on how to "score points" in this crucial year. Now that everything is settled down, things that needs to buy have been purchased. Things are a different ball game. I am fortunate to get good ratings for last year. Must perform well consistently if want to score 4. But shan't get upset if get 3 cos that will be the norm. Key point to follow-up before I forget: Monitoring supervisors' performance in Maximo. Must also remember to write down handle service contracts (thou not my job at that point in time but I handled them as well as some colleague not willing to do it.) And must look into following up with closure and conclusion. Look into ways of improving on how we do things. IMPROVE. Sorry to blog so much abt work. but just feel like it and must do it so that can come back and re-charge when I need to re-motivate myself. Cheers and have a great weekend!

Lil updates!

Lil Celeste is turning 8 months soon! She can sit up, crawl around and still just have 2 lower razor sharp lower teeth since she was 4mos+!

Her diet is still cereal + seasonal fruit/veggies once a day. She is quite an easy eater and has tried apple, potato, carrot, pumpkin, broccoli, papaya. :) Gonna try sweet potato tomorrow. She has started to eat some porridge which she shares with her gor gor at times. Life is alot easier to make puree thanks to my friends' advice to get a handheld blender and steam at least 1 week's worth during weekend and freeze the rest for weekday.

JJ who still calls himself a baby seems like a big boy to hubby and me. :) He is very chatty now though his prounciation is not that clear. Teachers in school says they need a translator! haha.... but his teachers like him a lot. When I called school to enquire if he is naughty/beat people/sit thinking chair, the principal told me his mouth very "sweet", they loved him to bits n can't bear to ask him sit thinking chair. but generally he is well-behaved in school. :)

But his temper is still very bad. and gets agitated suddenly at times. Try to ask him to express his anger. If not we really have no idea what he is mad at.

He can't bear to see us go to work during the weekdays. With Ah-Gong's explaination that we need to work to earn money for his neh-neh, he kinda understands and at least doesn't cry that badly. And Ah-gong will bring him to playground and they go for roti-prata + teh breakfast! Hmm... he is lucky to have a loving grandpa who never fails to bring him to playground + bf daily. The roti-prata uncle now see them will automatically make an egg prata and he actually cut into small pieces for him while frying it. So it's bite-size. And the drink stall auntie will serve teh automatically! This boy loves TEH! *faint*

When June comes, all my babies are having their birthdays! Hubby - 33. JJ - 3 and Celeste - 1!!!
Haven't thought of how going to celebrate cos it's all SOOOO Near! Hubby- 10th, JJ - 15th, Celeste - 26th!

As for me, waiting for bonus until neck also long long liao. Grr.....

A Great Hello!

Woah, finally I am able to get into my own bloggie! I changed my password till to spam and guess what, I forgot my own password *faint x3* hah.

Life is really good at the moment and I'm counting my blessings.

*Celeste is a happy little baby who is very alert, strong and active. She can't wait for me to hug her whenever I get home. And demands me to if I happen to be busy. And she is my precious baby who is ever generous with her wide smiles and little jumps when she gets excited!

*Hubby is working steadily in his business though the recent govt new rulings is gonna hit hard at sales. but I'm sure he will find a way.

*My work is keeping me busy. Things are more settling down now. Sometimes it is fulfilling. sometimes it gets frustrating. Looking forward to bonus now. heh... BUT must wait till end March! Gosh!

Update of Jayden at 2.5yrs old
-> Go to toilet independently. Except need help to pull up his pants when they get stuck at his tiny butt.
-> Says cheeky things.
-> Take care of meimei. When meimei grabbed paper and put it into her mouth while she was on the rocker, he saw and took the paper out from her hands gently.
-> Share his beloved bolster with meimei.
-> Share iphone with meimei when she crawls beside him to see what he is playing. he will hold the iphone and tilt the screen so that she can see.
-> likes to go swimming. Wanna learn swimming but want mummy to teach him.
Conversation went like this one morning.
J: I want to go swimming pool
Me: Ok, we go swimming pool. Mummy find teacher teach JJ learn swimming.
J: I want mummy.
Me: Ok, mummy bring u go swimming pool and teacher teach JJ to swim.
J: I don't want. I want mummy teach swimming.

Celeste's update at 6.5months
-> Can kinda crawl her way to reach her target object
-> makes lotsa low grrrr sound and "talking"
-> bottom 2 teeth sprout before she turned 6months.
-> likes to play and "spit" her saliva
-> very kiang at getting attention.
-> likes the sound of "Ai" when it plays
-> likes to see mirror reflection of herself and touch mirror with her hands. never fail to make her smile.

Ok, that's all for now.
CNY coming. I try to spring clean with whatever time I have at night after the babies are asleep.
