This is a very out-dated post (27-April). No time to blog till now. And the pics were uploading by phases (a few nights... haha... life is so busy)

Just before I started my new job, I had 1.5weeks break and I actually went for a Chocolate cake and cupcake decorating class! Don pray pray ok! It's 9am - 5pm! Woohoo!

Along with a few of my forum mummies, we went, we baked and we had hella a good time!

The teacher Mong asked,"When was the last time each of you baked?"

My reply,"Pineapple tarts for the past 2 CNY" (hahaahaa...)

Mong's kitchen! She lives at Toh Tuck area. nice house, fully airconditioned and surround music! Isn't it cool?! That explains why she dare to charge so much!

This is a baking belt! 1st time I heard of this. It's to prevent the bottom from turning brown as compared to the top. So you wet it and loop it around your baking tin. I bought one of this! KS..

Demo done by Mong. She baked a vanilla cake and cutting it into half and spread nutella in-between for our tea-break later. :) This is a cake leveller. It makes the cut easy and swee! I bought this too! hahahaaha.... but it's cheap lah... 4bucks...

We were divided into 2 teams... Tada! My team members! Puay San and Ice! Ice looks like promoter bo? keke... I tell you this Kitchen Aid cake mixer is super duper Chio! It cost $700+!

Updates on Jayden

This boy is getting mischievous... he pulled out the drawer cabinet and sit in it while biting my bag tightener. I was sufing net and things were getting quiet. I turned my back and see this scene!

This boy is having his 1st Birthday celebration tomorrow!

He's walking.... keeps on walking...

He goes mum-mum-mum when he wants to eat something and will chase you down.

He goes "nen-nen-nen" when he wants to drink milk.

A few weeks ago, he started to hold his own milk bottle automatically which makes mummy super happy cos she can flip the papers! Just that when it's nearing the end, she needs to help tilt the bottle upwards to prevent him from sucking in the air.

Can do it one hand somemore. i find it cute!

He grooves to music... move body forth and back or shake his hands up in the air.

He tries to comb his hair in front of the mirror... vain yah? haha...

He has a loud voice....

He is getting closer to daddy as daddy is spending more time with him these days! yippee!

He thinks he know how to answer phonecalls. I was bathing him when the phone rang. He got out of the bathtub immediately and hate for the toilet door. and goes "eh eh eh" like telling me he needs to pick up the phone!

Birthdays galore!

June marks a special month cos it's the Birrrrrrthdays of my 2 darlings! And mine is just next month! hmm... so my family's birthdays are very close.... of course, not to mention my best friends' bdays!

Haven't blogged for a long time cos now this boy sleeps at 10+.... by then, I almost want to KO liao. :P

let me 1st share Jayden's 1st chinese bday celebrations which falls on 4-June and I took leave on that very day.

Jayden in his orange polo and checkered shorts! I bought tis before he was born. Finally he can wear it! haha... but honestly, I didn't buy much clothing for him since he was born. You can really save money with boys...

Now it's time to "da ang gu" aka stand on ang gu kuehs... and must wear new shoes to step on it! :) See, he's trying to grab the red eggs liao!

Time to pick something! There is a weighing scale, red eggs (to rep chicken drumstick), abacus toy, $10 note and a Princess Disney book. Guess what? Red Eggs!!!!

Bought his cake from Glace cake... a japanese cake shop... damn expensive! but it's really yummy!

Next up is the big baby! *heh* We went for a buffet dinner after work on 10-June itself at Changi Village Hotel. Our 1st time there. gosh, veri ulu... but nice experience for a first time. :)

Most probably, I will be spending my birthday in US this year. So dear, U need to make up a big celebrationz for me Next Year! The big 3! cos we didn't celebrate my bday last year. and prob this year so....

RELAX....

The baby is sleeping soundly in his cot... and Allan is still working. So.... what do I do?

1) Go put on my mask
2) Make myself my choya+green tea
3) grab the newspapers
4) Lie in bed and blog now!

Yippee! No TV, no music now... just the blowing sound of the airconditioner....

Peace.... Sometimes silence is what you just needed.
At times, we are so immersed in the infocommunication around us that we forgets what it's like to just focus on a single thing. Multi-tasking is the norm.

surf net, watch tv, listening to music, msn-ing, facebook(or twitter, etc), talking on phone, sms-ing....

Ok, gonna sit back and enjoy my drink.
