The Decision had been made

The decision to change to a new job has been confirmed. It hasn't been easy. After all, I had worked in HP for 3.5years. Very used to the environment and job scope. I had thought of switching jobs before but being preggie stopped me in my tracks. Now that my life is more stabilised as Jayden gets bigger, it's time for me to seek the change I had wanted. To get out of the manufacturing industry. Saying it is easy. but when the real thing comes, it's not that all easy to step out of the comfort zone. I hoped I made the right choice. I'm glad to have hubby's support.

Of course, all the missing will come. I will miss my colleagues especially my very very dear michelle. *sob sob* We had joked of working together here till our hair turns white, like our seniors. *heh*

But at least we could still have lunches together. :))))))) This is the greatest comfort to me at this point in time.

Hmm... shall sign the appointment letter on Monday.

Parents' actual wedding anni is on 18-Mar. Advanced celebrations today!

There's no cake-cuttin ceremony in the "old" days.... heh

J's updates

My bedtime stories with mommy... This time round, Tiffany insists on joining us. And reading to J! So we took turns to read to Jayden. haha... this boy enjoys reading! And he chuckles at the music in the book.

My "missing" laptop power supply

Well, I MUST blog about this cos it's been the case of the missing power supply(PS) for my office laptop for the past 2 weeks. Usually I will keep it at home since there's the docking station in office. So last Fri, I brought my laptop back to clear some work. And guess what, I coulnd't find my PS when my battery went dead on me. Searched my desk and room but just couldn't find it, guessing it might be in office.

Today, I need to clear my emails so brought laptop back again since Allan's picking me up. I am determined to comb my room for the PS. I was busy searching for it and then I saw my hubby opening one of his drawer... taking alot of cables and power cords out. It's a mess in there which I'd rather not dig cos I'm sure I didn't put my stuff in there.

Then it happened(A-Allan, C-Me):
A(handling me a PS): Maybe u can use this for your laptop. It's from my previous old laptop spare PS.
C: *took a glance at the power cord* I don't think it can be used cos urs previous laptop is the old model. the head looks too small for my laptop. Mine's the new type with the bigger head. Ur old one is the small one.

Anyway, I took out my laptop and tried it for a fit... IT FITTED!!! MATCH!!!!

A: U must thank me for helping you find your PS. I think Minah(the maid) put it in my drawer while she's packing ur desk.
C: Wa pian!!! (In my mind, crap) She won't anyhow keep things one lah. You kept my PS. Made me comb my room upside down! Tot how come my room so big until I can't find the damn PS....
A: You should thank me for helping you find your PS..
C: dumb-folded. :S

Phew, I can work from home liao!

My 503 Post!

Without realising it, I had hit 500 posts already! this is my 503 post!
So I shall let it be a standalone post.

I shall blog about my acutal post next.............

"Ma" - Is it a coincidence or is it not? hmmm....

I'm at this stage whereby wondering if Jayden really identifies me as Ma as what?
I was washing dishes in the kitchen and he came in his walker searching for me and calling "ma" twice! I'm just still amazed! lolz....

Medicine Time

The lil one is coughing badly this morning. And the helper is able to feed him medicine better than us so usually Minah does it. Well, he will struggle, cry, yell, "pui" out his medicine... And guess what, it happened to be helper's off day today.. abit apprehensive about feeding him just now. *thinking cham liao, don't know can handle bo*

He woke up happily from his nap and I decided time for medicine! Let him play awhile while I go and prepare his med (syringes, water, towel, sarong). Sarong is to prevent him from struggling about and free up one hand. Luckily, he only struggled awhile in the initial phase and was fine with downing the green yucky-looking syrup after that. And was enjoying drinking water from the syringe!

Felt a great sense of achievement man!!!! muahaha....

Updates: "ma"

I was surfing the net(back facing cot) when Jayden woke up from his nap just now, pulled himself up to the cot railings and called me,"Ma"! I was astonished! I was so excited and smiled at him widely!

These days, he kept "ma" everywhere... and am very vocal whenever he's happy, excited... And pointing to you when he wants to go! hehe... I am just so in love with him and enjoying every single moment of it, even if it's washing his smelly backside after he poo poo.

Kindermusik!

Gosh, I'm so excited to bring J to Kindermusik next Sat for a trial lesson! I love music and dancing! Hopefully he will have fun too! Hope he gets well soon,baby...
